Heads up on a really cool game I found.
You might want to try out "The Apprentice". It is for computers & is a classical themed Adventure game. The subtle humor reminds me a bit of Monkey Island in a strange way. Currently there are 2 games in the series with a 3rd one being made. Both games are also free might I add. The first game is voiced (If you get the deluxe edition.. which I highly recommend), while the second isn't (which is really disappointing considering how well the game is voiced).

ACTUAL TESTIMONIALS FOR THE SECOND GAME
"Apprentice II is an excellent sequel to an excellent first game, that builds in every way on its predecessor - it's wider in scope and scale, with more characters, locations and puzzles." - Berian Williams, Adventuregamers.com
"...if you played the first part of the series, you know that you can expect top quality independent gaming: a very deep story, great character development, the best graphics the low-resolution AGS setting has to offer and a very unique sense of humor." - Jozef Purdes, DIY Games
"With a good fantasy plot, a fun cast of characters, fun puzzles, and outstanding graphics, Apprentice II is definitely well worth your time." - Home of the Underdogs
"Fantastic job! I'm enjoying this game very, very much." - Erwin Broekhuis, Adventuredevelopers.com
"I. Love you. So damn much." - Highwaygal
"Great game but now i am stuck" - crazyman
"This really feels like a Lucas adventure." - SteveMcCrea
"Everything from music to animation and background art is first rate..." - Foz

Glad somebody found it though
Which is ages in forum time. There are things that get buried on here after a day of inactivity.
Part 3 is supposedly in development according to herculean efforts' site.
Any chance you could post the titles?
There's the Ben Jordan series, which is currently 7 games strong (In Search of the Skunk-Ape, The Lost Galleon of the Salton Sea, The Sorceress of Smailholme, Horror at Number 50, Land of the Rising Dead, Scourge of the Sea People and The Cradinal Sins), all of which are pretty good. They're serious games though, so don't go in there expecting any zany homour.
On the opposite end of the scale is Ben There, Dan That!, a very adult comedy adventure that's one of the best games I've played all year. It's free, but its superior sequel, Time Gentlemen, Please!, isn't. But it's only $5. And you can get it on Steam. So, y'know, go get them.
Other, incidental games that I'd recommend are A Tale of Two Kingdoms, Annie Android: Automated Affection, Cedric and the Revolution, Cirque de Zale, Da New Guys, Grr! Bearly Sane, Mourir en Mer, Murder in a Wheel, Nanobots, No Action Jackson, Robotragedy and Stargate Adventure.
