Need suggestions!

Does anyone know where I can find Adventure games in the style of these, for cell phones? NOT iPhone, but traditional cell phones? The only one Ive ever seen was based on Friday the 13th, and Ive already beaten it.

There was a port of Broken Sword 1 for Pocket PCs and Palm OS if you have either of those.

Other than that, I don't know anything.

It depends what cellphone provider you have. Alltel doesn't have any but they add and remove games alot. There are a few websites that let you play games on your cellphones internet browser too though.

I had ScummVM running on a symbian S60v3 cell phone once. But that was just for testing, i wouldn't have played that way. What model is your cell phone?

    Sony Ericsson w580i

I know next to nothing about cell phones, but the descriptions I found seem to suggest that it's a very basic phone, with only J2ME available as runtime environment. Which sadly would mean that you're out of luck. ScummVM certainly won't run via J2ME... Broken Sword Mobile probably could, but I can't find anything about it.

Directly on mobile, I can't say I do know any, other than an House MD(You know, the TV Series) game which followed the same idea of walking around, talking to people, picking things up etc, like an adventure game, which is good, if you like House. However, theres Gameboy Colour and NES emulators around for J2ME, allowing you to play NES and GBC games. I've currently got them on my Sony Ericsson C902 mobile, they work pretty well too, especially the Gameboy one. Theres plenty of Adventure games you could try for those, like for example Maniac Mansion which was designed by Ron Gilbert, although I do admit, I never had the pleasure of playing it myself.

Yeah, im aware of those, but they are really BIG files compared to a lot of the games especially made for cell phones..

Then I can't help you, sorry. Havent you got a MicroSD slot on your phone? Also how much space have you got free on your phone? I managed to get the gameboy one on my old motorola phone, and they're dire for their memory capabilities. Only had like 5mb of space on the thing, no card slot either.

I'm not sure.. and you DID help me, actually, i didn't know about the House game. While I'm not a fan of House, I'd take any adventure game i can get my hands on. :D

    Well thats good. ;p

I just checked on the internet and apparently your phone does have a memory card slot for Memory Stick Micro. I'm not sure about where you live, but here in Britain you can get those for a couple of pounds now. So if you have some spare money, it might be worth investing in one, will allow you to store more music etc on your phone too. I'm surprised your phone wasn't included with one when you bought it though, most Walkman phones do.

Well...do i have to open my phone up to see it?

Not open it up fullly no, but you might have to just take the back cover off, a lot of the time the card slots are in the same place where you put the battery and the simcard. That's if the card slot isn't on the side of your phone.
