What´s your least favorite Telltale game and why?

  • TFTBL was very boring. I had to force myself to finish episode 1. I quite literally almost fell asleep. I didn't understand anything going on despite many fans saying non-Borderlands would be able to understand just fine. A few months later I decided to try episode 2. I had to stop about halfway. I don't care about these characters, the plot, etc. It's so damn boring. I tried, I really fucking tried to like it, but I just don't.

Michonne would probably be second place in terms of least favorite. Why should I care about a character(s) that I know will survive the game due to their plot armor?

  • Were they tears of joy?

I meant crying because the game's over, not because of something that happened in the ending.

  • Hmmmmm...... TWDM is my least favorite.

  • We're different

There was one thing that made me laugh for hours because of Tales. And that was in episode 3.

MCSM. I, for one, loved Michonne. TWDS1 will always be my favorite game. TWDS2 has good memories of when I first played it, plus Kenny was one of the main focuses of the season. Batman told a good story and got someone who has never been interested in Batman really invested in the game. Wolf was amazing. I enjoyed Tales, but it's nowhere near the top of my list. GOT I thoroughly enjoyed and was very pleased that I was able to be invested despite never having watched GOT previously. and MCSM just never hooked me. Like others have said, the later episodes were fun because they had a standalone story which was a cool little shake up, but it was too catered to young kids for my taste. Oh yeah and fuck ANF. (Joking, kinda. Not really. I'll play through the rest of the story, but they've already shit on the fans. No use in trying to wipe it.)

The walking dead a new frontier they say this is suppose to be season 3 there is nothing in here that screams season 3

a season 3 means a continuation off of season 1 and 2 would continue the story and the story of the characters of season 1 and 2

there was no continuation it screams spin off with a guest appearance from clementine this should have continued clem and javier should have been the side character

this whole game was a joke they only threw in clem to make the fans happy other than that this really had nothing to do with season 1 or 2 and should not even be considered season 3 you dont go in a continued season with a whole new story or cast that is a no no

from the start you can call this a reboot or a spin off but not a continuation they made us wait 2 years and thats the best they can come up with i am waiting for a true season 3 which stars clementine again and a real continuation from season 2

this was nothing more than a s pin off with clem being a guest appearance you know how they got walking dead and fear the walking dead on tv this kind of feels like that

this feels like their version of fear the walking dead and i hated fear the walking dead

the only thing i liked is where they took clem this around everything else i totally hated

and what they told to try and make this feel like a continuation the explanation were just horrible

clem was just thrown in for the fans and you really dont get to play her she was the only one i was interested in playing as and they ruined that for me

the telling on how to tie clem in this story was explained in her flash backs and they were explained just awfully and how they chose our endings to fit for this round was just explained awfully

out of our endings it seems the ending with jane with family or without family was the better ending from season 2 cause this way your not loosing clems finger

yea if you choose the alone story clem looses her finger which is surprising cause when that car got slamed on that hand it looked like she should of lost that whole hand

if you choose certain endings she could get scars on her face or mouth but if you choose the alone story you cost her finger

and the parts about kenny and jane both of their deaths are stupid

they should of just let kenny die in the first season liked they originally planned than to let him live to be a broken man to only die in a stupid way his season 1 death made sense plus he would of died by going out fighting instead he goes through a car window only to be crippled to never be able to walk again only to lay on the ground and get eaten by walkers what really tell tale you get him in a car accident and he gets an injury to never walk again and to get eaten by walkers

should of just let him die in season 1 his death would of had more meaning

and janes death wow she dies by hanging herself because she found out she was pregnant with lukes baby really tell tale she wasnt that kind of person to do that she was to much into surviving that she wouldnt of just took her own life cause she was pregnant

also kenny and janes character designs looked terrible this round i know they didn't plan to have them around long but still they could of made them look good but no made them look like crap

A season like that already exists; its called A New Frontier.

  • I don't care for your sarcasm.

  • Walking Dead: Michonne. I like Michonne, but the story wasn't the greatest and I didn't really feel a connection with any of the characters aside from Michonne.

  • Oooooooooh

  • Michonne. It was very boring to me, I couldn't have cared less for characters (Norma was interesting), especially Sam.

The typical "everyone dies after 4 yrs of survivng just when MC comes ha" formula.

  • A New Frontier
My main problem is the writing and the characters. There's too much emphasis on action and the characters are just boooring. Even Michonne had more interesting characters. The writing is competent but it lacks any passion and heart.

  • Bump.

  • a new frontier is not a true season 3 and never will be that is a spin off a true season 3 would have continued clems story even though she was in it she was just a guest appearance it was more a spin off cause it involved new characters and mostly their story

i am waiting for a true season 3 which stars clementine again and a real continuation from season 2 A season like that already exists; its called A New Frontier.

  • Well if you asked me a month ago I would say game of thrones but I just played the whole game and loved it. Episode 1 was the only one I disliked. But I guess I would say minecraft story mode I like the series it’s just it’s at the bottom of my list because the other telltale games are more interesting. But if I’m talking pre walking dead definitely Jurassic park that one was just dull.

  • Michonne or ANF both were very weak. ANF was all lies and ruined the franchise to me, so I guess I have to go with it.

  • Guardians of the Galaxy feels completely uninspired, each episode feels like a struggle to get through, the plot is completely predictable. I'm basically confused why it was even made in the first place.

I found The Walking Dead: Michonne to be mediocre, though mildly enjoyable. The protagonist and her past wasn't strong enough to carry it all on its own, the story and choices weren't memorable at all. The timing was no coincidence, it just felt like they were rushing out too many games and had to temporarily keep the core audience happy. I'm sure plenty of work went into it, but the vision of doing something interesting in a side story just didn't shine through.

I can't shake off not liking that Minecraft: Story Mode even exists (though I'm sure it's probably fine for a younger audience). If I had played that, perhaps it would be a close call, but yeah, as it stands the Walking Dead: Michonne is Telltale's weakest series in my opinion.

  • Hm...Game of Thrones made some detrimental story choices in the final two episodes and The Walking Dead: Michionne was underwhelming. The worst though is probably Jurassic Park. It was a necessary growing pain for The Walking Dead, but the controls were bad, the characters were bland and the story devolved into stupidity after a decent start. Best that it's largely forgotten.

Does Hector count? I really didn't find the toilet and lewd jokes all that funny, and it seemed weird for someone like Telltale to do, which makes sense considering they jumped in as devs after episode 1, but at least Hector had some substance, Bone was just really bland. Episode 2 was a little bit better at least. But yeah despite those series Telltale's had a great track record all around, still need to play the rest of the CSI games though. I heard they weren't very good.

  • Walking Dead: Michonne for pretty much the reasons other people have stated

I'd say Guardians of the Galaxy or Minecraft Story Mode.

  • The Walking Dead A New Frontier.

I've been one of Telltale's defenders for years and this game ripped me off.

  • Michonne. Outside of the main character and the flashbacks, the game is just boring.

    this game ripped me off

You traded it a perfectly good crate of batteries money, and it gave you a box of bullets that won't fire characters that weren't good!
