(I'm talking about spanking a kid when they deliberately act out.)

    WTF!

In general, I would say the problem lies in not enough of old school values being taught in the home, as well as a serious lack of parental discipline. (I'm talking about spanking a kid when they deliberately act out.)

  • Don't worry. They'll probably figure it out after their third job.

Most of the kids at my school are shallow smart-assed pricks who don't give a shit about anything.

  • Ikr lol girls so stoopid

Also anorexia has always existed, and obesity is a far more widespread issue. In teens and adults.

  • What i hate is that they find anything godamn entertaing.
Bottle Flipping I get okay but it should be dead by now... BUT DABBING IS THE MOST DUMBEST THING IVE EVER SEEN!

  • Getting spanked will not scar you mentally. Getting closed fist beaten for accidentally using to much milk in your cereal or using the wrong airforce cup an chased wita broad axe etc, that will drive you to a psychiatrist 2-3x a week.

Totally, because controlling kids through fear is the right way to go.

  • It's still scaring kids into "behaving". I think it's wrong.

I apologize if my comment was mean, I just got kind of annoyed when the user above said that the problem with people these days is that they didn't get spanked when they were younger. Which is bullcrap.

  • They are both equally bad and put the persons health at risk it doesn't matter which is more common.

the obese are usually just blissfully ignorant to the damage there doing (by choice a lot of the time) when anorexics are usually knowledgable about food and nutrition, anorexics and obese people probably spend just as much time obsessing about food. the obese see food as a cure the anorexics see food as a poison, they are two sides of the same coin.

  • I think kids are more tolerant and excepting then ever before and on a whole I think they have higher empathy then they used to.

I dont think there is anything wrong with wanting to be attractive and dressing nicely it shows that you care about yourself and other peoples opinions.

There will always be bullies and cliques thats just our tribal nature thats why brands and fashion are a thing because we're all stupid animals that are desperate to be accepted into a pack you cant look down on chidren (the weakest of our species) for being taken in by that crap.

  • Actually they have a high influence on being obese and unhealthy due to buzzfeed and other BS released.

It is bullcrap you don't have to teach kids manors physically to behave. The people who say it's good are most of the time spanked themself believing it helped them -_-

  • The old "it was good enough for me its good enough for you mentality"

I remember seeing a documentary about indian women that abuse their daughter in laws (cant find it now) because they were abused by their own mother in laws and its seen as tradition. The MILs hated being abused but choose to continue the cycle because it "made them who they are" well congratulations your a abusive fuck and your creating another abusive fuck.

When I hear people say "it never did me any harm" well your a fully grown adult ruling a small weak child with abuse and fear so I think it did plenty of harm to your morality. Sometimes these people say shit like "real men dont hit women" because a woman is weaker then a child? Or they make a point of believing in a warped form of "equality" where no one is safe from their abuse and the strong rule the weak/ the right rule the wrong.

These people are usually followers of religion, I was once asked "if you dont believe in god does that mean your ok with murder?" People can have morals without fear of punishment and I think if you are only behaving a certain way because of fear of punishment your not actually a good person because your only looking out for your own best interest you dont murder because you will be punished not because its morally wrong.

The thought of a adult raising their hand to a child devastates me and it only teaches the child that the strong rule the weak and to hide any mistake they make. When a parent hits a child its because the parent failed to teach and exercise patience, but the child is the one that gets punished.

Parents (should) choose to have children, this is why im pro choice, so they should take responsibility for that choice. Children have no choice in being born and dont derserve to be resented for existing, not knowing better, testing their boundaries and BEING CHILDREN.
