  • You know you can go back and play older video games at any time right? Even if you don't have the older consoles the opportunity still exists.

    I miss playing video games that aren't on PS4. Like InFamous 1 & 2 and GTA 4.

  • I love this comment.

  • True.

Nothing, the late 90's and early 2000's were atrocious.

It effects the look and style of animation, not exactly quality. Also animation, is the animation itself, how beautiful a cartoon looks doesn't equal animation. I personally think none digital coloring and shading just looks much nicer. But, that being said, that's what I grew up with so I guess, taste matters.

Hand Drawn with pencil, pen and paper, Cartoons, including anime. Everything is done on computers now. Yes hand drawn often but done with a

  • and good music

While I agree modern music is mostly trash, I listen to metal and there's actually a few bands that come out and are really good.

Ah yes, the Star Wars prequels were a collection of oscar winning material in the early 2000s.

  • The relative peace and prosperity.

    • my father
    • childhood (way less responsibility, not having a clue how fuqed up the world really is, lots of free time)
    • watching good old tv-shows and movies for the first time
  • My bad, I forgot a decade having good movies meant there were no bad ones.

Meanwhile: Terminator 2, Strange Days, Gattaca, The Matrix, Demolition Man, Total Recall, 12 Monkeys, Ghost in the Shell, Independence Day, etc., and that's just in science fiction.

  • Being carefree

  • My Virginity

  • Pretty much everything.

I was a small child so I never swore or had any real major problems in my life.

I have found myself getting depressingly nostalgic about this time period lately and I honestly just wish it would stop.

  • As for the 90's, I guess I miss the music and those must-watch music videos, like Jeremy and Closer.

The movies. 1994, for example, was a great year for movies. E.g.: Interview with the Vampire, The Crow, Forrest Gump, Ace Ventura, Dumb & Dumber, and the most representative movie of the 90's IMO, Pulp Fiction

The TV shows. The Star Treks, X-Files, Ren & Stimpy, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and of course Saved by The Bell. Also remember watching a bunch of Xena and Herc

Don't miss the fashions, though. I admit to being a flannel and converse-wearing grunge kid for a spell. Never again

  • My hairline, I had great hair.

  • Hell, I even miss the shitty stuff, like Britney Spears, The Spice Girls, and Hanson...

Flash forward a few years, my best friend and I were making sarcastic remarks from the bleachers like the two old guys in The Muppets. Another sad loss from the 90s/2000s, btw.

Also, 10 Things I Hate about You, Freaks and Geeks... sigh .... So many memories, lost... like tears in rain...

  • I have really fond memories of Runescape.

It's how me and my dad used to bond with each other when I was little :)

    Runescape.

  • Nothing. All of my memories before, let's say two years ago, can all disappear.

  • Independence Day is arguably the reason why there are so many uninspired Blockbusters nowadays.

I also don't think it holds up.

  • I miss the times we didn't need to worry about Donald Trump being our president.

  • Hahaha yeah Herc was a great show man. Managed to record a bunch of episodes on the horror channel recently. Never really got into Xena though.

    • Good movies (Jurrasic Park, Independence Day, Star Wars Prequels) and music (Killing Me Softly with His Song, Livin' la Vida Loca, Mambo No. 5, MacarenaU Can's Touch This, Ice Ice Baby), even the shitty movies (Dreamworks Animation), and music (Britney Spears, The Spice Girls, and Hanson)
    • Playing in those play/ball pit pens
    • Halloween & Christmas
    • Adverts
    • Watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Ren & Stimpy, Herc & Xena, Dinosaurs, The Racoons, Power Rangers, Barney the Purple Dinosaur, Bugs Bunny cartoons, Codename Kids Next Door, Ed Edd and Eddy, & EVEN Mr Motivator
    • PSX games such as MediEvil & the Syphon Filter Trilogy
    • McDonalds happy meal & the toys that came with them
    • Going swimming during the summer
    • My pet Budgie, Sparky, & my pet rabbit, Snoopy Keegan
    • Pogs
    • My Health & my Dignity
  • I dunno, I have more respect for a man pushing a broom often than a modern artist. xD

  • The rising of the Internet. It was way more cool and exciting back then.

  • I miss when gas at some stations was $1.50 a gallon. Nowadays it is so expensive to drive anywhere.

I also miss the days where you didn't need to be a computer geek to be able to fix your truck. Nowadays they're so loaded with computer technology, it's almost impossible to do any old school backyard mechanical work.

I miss when marriage was strictly between a man and woman. (Yes I am conservative, and no I do not apologize for it.)

I miss the days when everything was not so PC. I miss the days where people could express their opinions, and they weren't demonized for it.

I miss the Backstreet Boys. Not that I was ever a huge fan of them, but they sounded a hell of a lot better than the shit that's played on the radio today.

I miss shows like Home Improvement, Early Edition, Dharma and Greg, Becker, Two and a Half Men (back when Charlie was on the show).

I miss the days when movies were not so overboard with all the CGI like they are now. When you do that you begin to lose the human element of the story.
