Games that you think could have been masterpieces if they weren't thrown away:
- Gotham By Gaslight
Yeah, I know, we have the Arkham series but look how good this game looked. Before you say anything, this isn't how the game would have been because it was still in development. And goddamn, look at the cape physics, it looked MORE REALISTIC than the Bat's cape from Arkham trilogy. I heard this game had Jack The Ripper as the main antagonist which I think would have been better than Scarecrow in Arkham Knight. I think this game should have been made instead of Arkham Knight.
- Silent Hills
I never played any Silent Hill games in my life. But I love horror games. I wish I had tried the P.T. before but I didn't have PS4 at that time. This game could have been a legend.
- Star Wars 1313
When I looked at this video, it gave me a LOT of Uncharted flashbacks. Why the fuck is Disney cancelling great games like that? We got Star Wars Battlecrap instead of this amazing game. #FuckDisney

Resident evil 3.5
Damn, I looked at it on youtube and it looked MUCH better than Resident Evil 4. I think this is how it should have been than RE4 we got these days. Resident Evil 4, 5, 6 focused too much on action than horror.
Half Life 2 Episode 3/Half Life 3, even though it isn't technically cancelled it might never happen
I never played Half Life in my life. Too bad Valve is focusing on that overrated crap CS:GO. I only played Portal games.
My brother was the gamer in the family...but I always loved Xcom....the original development team was going to make a game called.
Dreamland Chronicles:Freedom Ridge. Sadly it did not make it...but we got Firaxis making Xcom now...so I am happy.

Silent Hills. I'm not a PS4 owner, but playing SH1 and SH3 has made me appreciate the series and I might have actually saved up for a PS4 if Silent Hills hadn't have been cancelled.
Yes they have, duh. People complained during RE1, 2, 3, CODE: Veronica, Remake and 0 times that it was the same shit, controls were always the same and they were clunky and it wasn't scary anymore. Thus, Capcom listened to their fans, they changed the formula for RE4 because the early betas, 3.5 versions, were still what people complained about... still clunky controls and still same shit, thus RE4 was made. Now, when people complain that the series focuses too much on action, they're making RE7.
I don't get people who anymore think the third episode/game is coming out. It's not. It's never coming out. It's cancelled.
Resident Evil Outbreak File 3.
I know Outbreak came out the wrong time or it might've done much better when online gaming wasn't such a new thing, but I was really bummed out they never did a third and final game. There's even content still found for File 3 in the original outbreak games, meaning it was going to happen, but I think because the sales didn't do so well at the time, File 3 was shelved.
Fans tried to petition at one point to get File 3 one made, and have spoken up about it a lot. Here's hoping Capcom wind up doing a HD remaster of Outbreak at least. I would give anything to get the chance to play it online with other people.
For me RE ended in the first 3 RE games i never complined about the controls the bad control was for me a part from RE games that make the game more harder and cool the game was cool as what it is but copcom ruined it

I think that seeing what Telltale's King's Quest game would've looked like would've been neat.
Disney had no reason to continue with 1313. They pretty much killed off anything that didn't have to do with the movies. It's why we will never see another KOTOR either. They bought Star Wars for the intellectual rights to the characters from the first movies, and they don't want anything conveluting thar brand. For as much money as they paid for it, I guess they can do whatever they want.

Silent Hills. Would've been the best horror-game ever.
It could have been the best horror game of 2016 if Kojima planned the release for that year. 2016 had no good horror games.
I recently watched the trailer for Prey 2 for the first time, and I agree with the majority, it looks more interesting than the one they are making, even though that looks pretty good as well.
I doubt Kojima could've done anything about it, more like Konami just doesn't give a shit about big budget games anymore, just look at how Survive takes nearly every asset from MGSV. At most, some ideas from SH might still be salvaged into Death Stranding. At most.
I really loved playing MGSV but yeah.

I say now's a good time to make an HD release seeing how prominent online gaming is. It was hard doing it solo since the AI partners were dumb as heck and I had no online for PS2 back then. Could never beat the games cuz of my partners kept dying. ;-;
