  • I would be sad..... but he did kill his ex girlfriend.

  • On one hand, he jumped off the cage onto Muraco, which was fucking awesome.

...On the other, he sort of murdered Nancy Argentino.

Now that I think about it, women named "Nancy" should probably refrain from entering relationships with professional wrestlers.

  • Poor Nancy Benoit :(. Still rattles my head how Chris became the literal personification of a rabid wolverine in his real life.

  • I want to pretend this was part of 2016 because we can't afford to have another bad year maybe not all bad because he murder his ex though.

  • I think it is sad but on the other hand he did kill his girlfriend. Apparently he had been living in hospice care and told he had only a few months to live. He had stomach cancer and dementia at the time of his death.

  • Wow sadly it feels like Chris Benoit all over again.

Not sure how to feel about this one. Huge wrestling fan and his contributions to the business are undeniable, but man. What he did can't be forgiven or forgotten.

  • They did it as a PR move. It would have looked bad regardless if they didn't tribute video. Also WWE did remove Snuka from the hall of fame awhile back

  • Definitely not as big of an impact as Benoit IMO. What Benoit did was in present time, but Snuka did what he did a LONG time ago. Now it doesn't excuse it, but it does fade it quite largely. Right now, the headline is that he died, the controversy surrounding him isn't as fresh as Benoit, but I do see your point.

  • Was Snuka actually convicted of the crime or was their just a lot of evidence? I wasn't even aware of any trial.

  • They had the evidence to convict him, but by the time they compiled the evidence they needed he was deemed unfit to stand trial.

  • Was not proven 32 years ago and it wouldn't have have been proven now

  • They tend to erase superstars from the history books when stuff like that happens.
