Questions about Spinner Cay release?

I know I started a thread for the same reason in the run-up to chapter 1 but Spinner Cay is set to be released on PC on the 20th of August. The first chapter wasn't released on Wii until about 2-3 weeks after the PC release.

Will there be a simoultanious release this time or will there be more waiting for Wii owners?

    The wiiware delay wasn't down to telltale the fault was with nintendo. I believe the US version was rated for wiiware 2 days after the PC version was released, which implies telltale had sent it to nintendo. I wouldn't expect this until mid September.

    I know it wasn't Telltale's fault, I'm just saying it was deayed. But it can't be that hard to transfer the controls and do QA at the same time ass production on the PC and Nintendo has already rated the original so they should sot of know. Thanks though.

    Yeah, I can't see Nintendo releasing it simultaneously, they'll have to individually review each one. They like to make people wait. :p

    I wouldn't say the first episode being late on Wii was Nintendo's fault. It took a little extra time to get the Wii version up and running, and then there is approval time. So between the two, it regrettably meant that the two versions were a few weeks apart. If I were a betting man (which I'm not), I would say the two release dates are likely to be closer together, but not necessarily simultaneously.

    Let's have a wager for the Wii release date!

    My bet, for a piece of crumbly apple strudel, is August 24.

    Plus, it might be a motivator that it has sold quite well and they release it sooner.
