Telltale Games and YouTube monetisation - Lots of monetised YouTube videos
I'm sorry if this post has been made before, but I can't find them. So made one myself.
So as of late, I've built my new pc and would like to turn my channel into a gaming channel (yes there are millions of them but I'm just doing this for fun in my free time) and want to kick start off the new channel direction with The Walking Dead season 1 & 2. I'm a partner on YouTube so monetising videos is an option for me to earn a few pennies off a hobby.
However, I have researched that Telltale games don't approve of monetising their games but are happy that people can create fan-made/lets plays of their games..
Now, the reason I made this thread is because if you simply search on YouTube any telltale games, every video I clicked on was MONETISED. So I'm quite confused here.
How are these videos up on YouTube with monetisation if telltale don't approve of it? I'm really confused whether or not I can monetise them
