I wonder if Sponge Bob Square Pants is gonna be in monkey island ..thatd be something new, funny and wierd

    I don't think I would ever find it in my heart to forgive Telltale if that happened.

    - Sir, they know what La Esponja Grande is. What do we do now?

    Figure in a chair in a Sponge Bob T-shirt glances away of TV showing latest Squarepants episode.

    - Whaaat? Why..how.. how could this happen? Can't you do anything right? First they learn we are bringing back Murray, then they found somehow Wally is a mysterious figure, and now THIS? Sponge Bob was a perfect surprise that no one could've suspected, it was going to be hillarious! We are ruined, the whole La Esponja Grande deal is a worthless junk now i tell you!

    - Uhh, Sir, we can always go back to the drawing from the Chapter 1

    - Yeah, yeah, whatever.. Sponge Bob music continues to play on

    Guys and mods! I wish to express my apologies due to the image shown i was irresponsible with it and should have been to cautious. I promess i will be more carefull with what i post.

    I laughed when I saw this thread, only because Spongebob is the second least likely being in the universe to appear in a Monkey Island game.

    Well, in everyone's defense, including me, there was nothing in the post that indicated you were joking. The very idea is ridiculous, but that doesn't mean that it could indicate you were joking. There are a lot of people who find stupid ideas great ones. Also, and I mean no offense, the post just wasn't that funny. The joker with the insult sword fighting thing really made no sense and made a very annoying image in everyone's minds. Again, no offense, just being honest.

    I'm sure the prospect of a Spongebob reference isn't that far-etched - could be funny IMO if it was a subtle, mocking reference.
