Why does this happen?

Okay, so I was at my ex-girlfriend's house a couple days ago. And long story short, I can hang aound her aound that house for a while, but it gets to a point where I'm very uncomfortable.

It's like when I walk into that house, after a while, there is something that just starts to grind on me, and I get super uncomfortable.

I don't understand why that is, or even if what I'm saying makes sense. And this started happening even before we broke up.

  • Gee, I wonder if it's because she's somebody you don't like to be around because of a mental trigger that can't be controlled (which also could'va led to the broke up among other things), and now that you're broken up it feels even more awkward. Nah, it can't be a simple, trivial solution that helps shine light on the subject like that. We must go deeper!

  • Perhaps awkwardness or sexual tension.

  • Stop hanging around your ex-girlfriend's house.

  • I don't get people who try to stay in contact with their ex partners. An ex becoming a friend after you break it off is a rare thing, you'd have to part on very good terms, this is just pouring salt into the wound.

It's because of her new man, right?

  • "just starts to grind on me." Well considering you've broken up that is kinda awkward. Just tell her to get off

  • Kenny/Lee, I appreciate that you're troubled at this current point in your life but I honestly don't know how to help you here.

We can offer you advice on your problems but sooner or later you have to try and better things yourself.

  • Because something she has said/done has a bad influence on your mental state. Trust your gut feeling. Try to think about 'why', but do not overthink.
