Donald Glover&James Earl Jones cast in Lion King live action remake

Donald Glover has been confirmed to be Simba with James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa. I was kinda hoping Matthew Broderick would return for Simba, but Donald could be good too.

    The mere mention of a Lion King Remake makes me cringe. Let's just let the classics stay classics instead of butchering beloved series for monetary gain.... cough cough

    I don't think they'd use Matthew Broderick as it's become convention to cast the lion king with black actors. Not expressing an opinion either way, that's just been the convention of the stage for the last decade or so.
