New actors to play Wolverine aka, Logan.
So there has been some talk of Logan coming back from the dead, and appearing future X-Men films. However as Hugh Jackman already stated that his new film LOGAN was his last ride as the Wolverine, after having played the character for almost 20 years.
So if indeed Wolverine does return to the big screen, which actor do you think could fill the role, as Jackman will no longer be doing so?
Personally, I think Russell Crowe would be a decent choice. In fact, Jackman revealed in an interview that before he was chosen for the role, Russell Crowe was strongly considered for it by the casting director of the first X-Men film.
Now granted Crowe might not have the height that Jackman does, Jackman being 6'3ft; and I don't have any idea how tall Crowe is, but he does have a tough guy look to him, and has been known to play action roles, as was the case in the film GLADIATOR.
Another actor I think would be great for the role, is Viggo Mortensen. Again he might not have the size that Jackman, does, but Mortensen fought like an animal in films like EASTERN PROMISES and A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE.
Plus Mortensen has such an expressive face. When he gets angry in films, right before he goes into a fight, and when you see it, you're like, "I wanna get the fuck away from this guy", or, "Oh shit, somebody's gonna get it now."
Those are just two actors that I personally think could do a decent job at filling Jackman's shoes as Wolverine, though that's not to say it would be an easy thing to do.

It's gonna be hard to replace Hugh Jackman. I mean, he was born to play that role. Tom Hardy might be a decent choice, but I think I heard somewhere that he didn't want to do anymore superhero films after the Dark Knight Rises. Not 100% certain if it's true or not, but with all the superhero fatigue a lot of people seem to be suffering from, it's possible.
He said that he'd pick up the claws again if he got to be in the MCU. But considering the relationship between Fox and Marvel Studios it's very unlikely.

No he WASN'T born to play that role. Most films proved that. Jackman was a Hollywood Wolverine, not Wolverine.
Crowe is now 52 and obese. Great choice. Viggo is almost 60.
can you like tag your sh#t with [MAJOR SPOILER]
I think Scott Eastwood would be a good Wolverine.
And Hugh Jackman is damn near 50.
And far as older actors picking up a action packed role, Harrison Ford was in his early 50s when he starred as Richard Kimble in the 1993 film: The Fugitive, and around the same age when he starred in the film: Airforce One.
Ford was in his early 60s, 62 if memory serves me correctly, when he starred in the action packed film: Firewall.
The point is, if an actor, just like anyone, will keep themselves in shape, then they should be able to tackle physically demanding, despite their age.
