For any and all fans of Full Moons Puppet Master franchise

Yes, I will admit I am a fan of a B movie franchise. But with certain franchises like this one, they tend to be more than the eye allows, if you can just see it.

My brother and I stumbled across this series in a toy magazine with an article on Full Moon toys and the puppets of Puppet Master caught our eyes.

We both have seen every film the good, the bad (yes we seen Curse and VS Demonic Toys ugh; I've seen Axis of Evil but my brother was defensive due to him being a history major and I know the series chronology and timeline are very wonky. Haven't seen Axis Rising, nor I'm not sure I want or Axis Termination upon it's release.)

The only thing I liked from Axis of Evil was the unappreciated Ninja puppet. I thought he was cool

But it was fun, and my brother and I liked the wooden creatures. They weren't evil for the sake of being evil. They could be your best friends, just don't get on their bad side.

Of all the films, I don't know if I have a favorite. They were all different, and just can't decide. And with my keen eyes, rewatching them I notice little things that are hard to ignore such as hands guiding the puppets or seeing strings. Yet, I try really hard to ignore those things.

A couple of years ago Action Lab comics started a comic series of Puppet Master which aroused my curiosity. And I loved it. The series itself is not for the faint of heart, but for fans of the series. The writer of the series told wonderful stories, and gave the puppets great character and broaden the mythos. The series even managed to fill in gaps and answered unanswered questions the films ignored.

Then early this year, I haven't noticed the release of Issue 21. I'm sad to say the series has been cancelled. For whatever reasons I don't know.

I'm upset that this unique series has met a premature end when in my personal opinion was full of great promise.

On the bright side, I'm interested in the reboot Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich which is a reboot and the fan in me will give it a shot.

The issues I have gathered will be gems in my comic collection, for it was unique. Here's hoping the reboot will give it new life.
