There's a Playstation sale, got 5$ and can't decide what to buy.

[This probably isn't really worthy of a "discussion" but I figured I'd post it as such so it gets to be seen easier. I'll close this as soon as I make my decision. I just want people's opinions....]

So, currently there is a massive sale going on in the PlayStation store. I've already bought two great cheap games (Catherine and Tales of Monkey Island; Both of which I have yet to play), and I have 5 dollars left in my account wallet. Figure I'd use it on these good deals while I have the chance. I've looked through the list, and I picked out a few that I could give a try. If you're confused about the value below, these are the current Canadian prices

  • Killzone Shadow Fall [Ps4] (4.99$) -- I'm not too big of a shooter fan, and I've heard that while this game looks good, and has some nice setpieces, the story is kinda meh [btw, I've also never played a Killzone game before, so not sure if I'll understand much]. Also, the multiplayer. I'm not that great at FPSes so don't know how well I'd hold up in that.

  • War of the Monsters [PS2 to PS4 port] (3.49$) -- This game, I've heard quite good things about it (though that may have come from nostalgia-fueled fans of this game). Anyone have an opinion on this game? I've seen footage and it looks like a cool Monster/Kaiju beat-em-up. Plus, the added benefit of 2 player support. Could be fun with friends...

  • Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. [PS3] (4.99$) Okay, I've already got this on the Wii, but I figured "Hey! I could get this version for a small boost in graphics and quality with easier controls..." Not sure if it is worth the rebuy.

  • Deadly Premonition Director Cut? [PS3] (3.99$) That any good?

That's all that really struck my fancy, but if there are any other 5$ games you see you'd like to recommend, feel free to do so. Sale ends Monday.

Killzone or war of the monsters

  • Deadly Premonition is one of those "important" games for it's time.

It doesn't hold up terribly well and there are a few really annoying parts.

When it came out, it was a survival horror game that managed to get 10/10s when horror wasn't overly popular(it also got some really low scores, which it holds a Guinness World record for Most Critically Polarizing Game or something).
That says a lot. People love, people hate it.

  • Okay, I've decided on War of the Monsters. Thanks for everyone's input! :p
