Your Top 3 favourite Telltale games?
Interested to see which Telltale game people like the most here.
For me:
TWAU S1: Definitely my favourite Telltale game, I love the unique world, how the murder mystery evolves and Bigby as a character is just great & I like how different he can be depending on how you play him.. Really want a second season.
TWD S1: Almost as good as TWAU but I think Episode 4 was too filler-ish. Lee and Clem's relationship carries the season, its very well done. Back then the Telltale formula was still fresh and not so stale.
Tales from Borderlands: I expected it to be awful because the games aren't exactly known for their good stories and characters but it really surprised me. It was lots of fun, the characters were likable and overall the only Telltale game post TWAU worth buying imho.

Yes I know, putting Season 2 higher than season 1, what kind of idiot am I? I will readily admit, that overall, storywise, gameplaywise, and probably characterwise, Season 1 is better (not by too much, but its better), however, since this is MY 3 favorite Telltale games, I will always put season 2 over season 1, simply because I enjoyed it alot more, I really enjoy characters like Clementine and Ellie from The Last of Us, children who has to survive in a harsh world, I think it makes for very interesting characters, and while alot of peoples complaints about season 2 is the fact that you play as a child (and the fact that the story makes no sense after episode 3), but I think playing as a child really elevates the game to something special, I enjoyed Clementine, sure she was overpowered at times, but there were also the moments of fragility, where we get reminded that she is only a child still.
I dont really like the stereotypical adult male hero type character, so the chance of playing a little girl who has lost so much, choices practically made themselves, since I knew about her background, so I had a good feel for what she would do.
I dunno, I just had a super immersive experience with season 2, to the point where I wasnt even contemplating choices, since most choices felt natural to make, since I was so immersed in the character. Season 1 is Objectively better (probably), but Season 2 was an experience unlike any other to me, which is why I put it above season 1
