Any chance of a Purcell ToMI poster print?

I understand the slipcover featuring Steve's art for the Tales Collector's DVD is exclusive, as in "can't-get-it-anywhere-else." But is the artwork itself exclusive? Along with other merchandising decisions to be made closer to release of the DVD, I was wondering if a poster print might be made available, or if there was some kind of weird licensing thing that prevented you from releasing one. I was gazing up at my newly-framed Sam & Max prints (Season One, Season Two, and Highway Surfing) and imagining how great it'd be to have a recent Purcell print of lovable Guybrush alongside them...

While I'm asking, too :D, is it likely that if a soundtrack is released, it'll feature exclusive artwork in much the same way the S&M soundtracks did?

Thanks, Telltale. :)

I hope it is exclusive to the boxart. Otherwise what would be the point in pre-ordering?

...getting thte art on your box?

As a pre-order customer, I'd LOVE to be able to get the art as a print as well.

i'd love to see some monkey island merchandise..especially with steve purcell artwork. the cover artwork looks amazing so far...at least the small bits that were already revealed. i wouldn't mind, if everybody could get a print, but if the majority wants it to be "pre-order only"...no problem for me either.

soundtrack would be nice also. i already have the mi cd-version tracks on my ipod, but did use only mediocre quality for the encoding and unfortunatly the cd is screwed, 'cause it was not the retail, but a cheap bundle version that came with some magazine.

i just hope lucasarts will approve of some tomi merchandise and that their approval process is not to complicated and/or expensive...so telltale can do some items.

I wonder if Steve's covers for the first two MI games are for sale as prints.

I have a poster of the box art from the first game, but when I was a kid I made the mistake of using some greasy sticky tack on it to hang it on the wall, so... it's seen better days.

laserschwert made these some time ago and they are quite famous. i still admire his photoshop skills.
still, i would prefer the telltale prints...they have nice paper and the colors are amazing. i assume you won't get a quality like that elsewhere...for such a price.

so, telltale, send someone over to lucasarts and get some merch licenses...there's money waiting to be spent here.

p.s.: did you notice that there's only a one-letter-difference between money...and monkey? coincidence or intention...;)

That would be nice to have a print of the new coverart, from seeing the preview pics I could see that looking good on my wall framed.
