New Campo Santo game coming?
Just feel like discussing this. A few weeks ago I saw a twitter post from Campo Santo saying they were looking for a new worker for their next game. Are you looking forward to this and did you like Firewatch?

Hell yes! I love me some Campo Santo. They're devoted to intricate stories and I'm sure they'll only get better after Firewatch.
I enjoyed Firewatch. I hope their new game is better
I'm definitely curious to see what's coming up next from those guys. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be somewhat anticlimatic like Firewatch's ending was.
I feel like I'm in the same boat as Blind here. I'll keep an eye out as Firewatch had some great stuff to it, but it's ending was anticlimactic and disappointing, so while I'm curious, I'm also going to be slightly cautious.
I love Firewatch.. But, like many others, i dislike the ending
Sean Vanaman tackles it in a recent (& really good) interview at Polygon : http://www.polygon.com/features/2017/4/3/15144298/firewatch-interview-sean-vanaman
Can't wait. Loved Firewatch (and I'm one of the weirdos who liked the ending).
I actually loved the ending. Maybe there could have been more, but I think the point of the game would be ruined if we just ended up getting married to Delilah or something, or even seeing her face. She is meant to be inaccessible and we are meant to be a trapped bird having a dream of escaping that is fundamentally unrealistic.
Unless the complaints about the ending aren't that Delilah doesn't fall into our arms and tell us she loves us/we see her face and she's beautiful?
I was mostly sad about the ending because I don't get to talk to Delilah anymore. They really nail the dialogues.
My complaints were that you had all this buildup with an intriguing storyline involving missing campers, some secret research center, and someone supposedly stalking us, only for it to end very anti-climacticly and with some less than satisfying resolutions. I have no issues with not meeting Delilah or her not "falling into our arms" and whatnot because it actually fits the story that we didn't see her for the exact reason you stated.
FUCK YEAH
Me too!
I think the anti-climacticness could even be said to be the point as well - the story was fundamentally NOT about missing campers, it was really just about Henry and him dealing with the complex mental health situation he had.
Besides the conspiracy theories about Delilah being evil I think most was tied up - the missing girls were found, there was that gay guy who killed himself or something, and the dad of the boy who probably died in the firem and he was the one who was stalking us
Huh? I remember the missing girls and the boy's father but I don't remember anything about a gay man killing himself. But, it has been a while since I've played that game though.
EDIT: Wait, was that the sub-story in the letters you could find in the cache boxes? I never found all of those letters so I guess that's the most plausible way for that story to have showed up while I missed it.
Firewatch was very enjoyable. I would love another game from them.
I don't think Campo Santo is a big company. Yet Vanaman and Rodkin did something original/different than Telltale does. I hope they won't do a copy of "Firewatch" (I mean same game, another scenery). Originality, fresh ideas is what they/we need. If CS can, so can you TTG.
Firewatch is overrated.
Not really looking forward to this.
Hope it is better than that crapfest Firewatch.
I fucking loved Firewatch despite the anticlimactic ending. I'm really looking forward to see what they're bringing to the table next.
Hopefully they make The Walking Dead game season 3.
Looks like it has something to do with Rick and Morty.
