MCSM failing to load, stuck on DLC checking screen

Does anyone have a resolution to the issue which seems to plague a few gamers out there, where the initial loading screen never moves beyond the "Connecting - Checking for DLC" screen?

I have raised a ticket with Support already but none has been forthcoming thus far.

    Re-installed the game a second time and that seems to have resolved the issue...
