How? She kills in Season 2, she curses in Season 2, she's sassy in Season 2, she a little tougher in s2 compared to s1. I don't why everyone acts like the way clem acts came out of nowhere. And don't forget it's been 2 years and that's a lot of time to change
The writing is so all over the place...it seriously needed an editor to go in and make changes to smooth over things.
Yeah, as much … moreas I liked Thicker than Water and especially Above the Law, there are a few things that left a bit to be desired.
I hate how Clem was used in the marketing....basically they whored out her character to advertise but then basically made her a background character
Her slob game just wasn't sloppy enough, I guess.
Fun fact...replace Clem with some other teen with a revenge arc and it works the same
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Hell, they even could've just used Ava when you think about it.
Unless we get a trailer tomorrow/promotional art tomorrow for the 16th then I reckon we'll get it on the 23rd, trailer/promotional art on Wednesday and Thursday next week respectively.
Because at the beginning we thought telltale was going to actually utilize Clementine properly and have her as a main character. Fast forward to now and she's nothing more than an irrelevant afterthought with no depth or uniqueness with a generic character and no contribution to the story.
Tbh, I'm only playing episode 5 for two reasons:
* Clem reuniting with AJ.
* If Telltale actually goes through with Gabentine.
Other than that, nothing else really grabs my attention.

I love how we're now actually begging Telltale not to do something inherently cool like multiple endings because our trust in them is basically nonexistent at this point. The polar opposite of three years ago.

Hmmm... weird. Maybe theyll pull a Walking Dead 205 or a Batman 105
TWD E5 released August 26, "A26" this tweet was 6 days before. They had everything done and needed only the classification to talk about it. Meanwhile, 305 has been classified for 14 days already.
The next day,5days before the episode released, they dropped a trailer.
Meanwhile, more recently, Batman's 105 trailer released one day before the episode did. I really wonder why they've been so quiet about 305...

My clem didn't do a single one of those things, that's the thing. The closet thing to sassy was still. Not. Bitten. In my playthrough, and she didn't swear once, not even on the bridge because I failed the QTE. I also don't recall her directly killing anybody, and Kenny was determinant.

Yeah, now I have to finish it. I haven't even played episode 4 yet because I'm that disappointed.
The whole AJ story is a forgettable side quest that has been severely stretched out to keep clementine in the story. The first two episodes had minor AJ mention in flashbacks which had little to no effect on the current story. It hasn't been until EP3&EP4 that AJ has become slightly more a side focus in the story.
Forgettable? How is it forgettable in any way at all? Every flashback in the game so far is about AJ, not to mention the number of time clem has referenced him in the present.

Mike was originally supposed to be the big, black scavenger who held Christa at gunpoint. His stealing Arvo's supplies and truck was likely meant to be him falling back into old habits, if it was planned back when that was gonna be his backstory or at least as a mythology gag.
So technically, he's meant to be a reformed criminal while Eleanor was medic who put broke the rules to help save people she just met.
The 1-3 minute minute flashbacks that are lazily designed don't give much validity to AJ being a main storyline. And just because clementine mentions AJ doesn't meant he's an important part of the story. Kenny constantly mentions Duck and Katja which doesn't mean they are an important storyline or relevant to the plot.

I'd be fine with breaking Gabe's heart. Maybe then he stops acting like an idiot.
Hearts broken? In a romantic lights, maybe that refers to Gabentine rather than Javi/Kate

What do you mean more good than Mike? He had valid reasons for wanting to leave, Kenny was getting kinda crazy.
I'd be fine with breaking Gabe's spine for example.
Just as you said, this is the internet and sometimes sarcasm isn't easy to notice unlesss we all have sarcasm detectors...
No, I hate her for obvious reasons only.

I'd be fine with just breaking him.
I'd be fine with letting walkers eat his heart.

Its not an unpopular opinion though. Alot of people think season 2 is the weakest season of the telltale walking dead series.

Ogh shit

Me too.

@AronDracula I hope they don't go through with it.
A lot of people thought that before A New Frontier came out.

Too much time on your hands
I'm pretty sure the love for clem lasted until episode 4. Besides, is most of the story not about her trying to find AJ?

Episode 4 was actually decent.

Took me no more than 10min to find that. I've been on these forums long enough to know how to get around it fast.
Telltale obviously forgot about old players and old characters, evident by this bloody season.

@Jaycoen made it for the meme thread
Well, that's what it seems like!

Clementine needs better friends than this little piece of shit.
