I went back and watched some videos for MILR, and when you talk to Kate Capsize about Big Whoop, she says that they never found it and the captain died of boredom while crossing the sea of "Beige Flotsam" I wonder if the mystery women is really Kate. Maybe she went back to look for it and ran in to Guybrush along the way. That is if the "Beige Flotsam" is supposed to be the same area. Just a thought, I thought it would fit together nicely if it was true. oh well I will will figure it out in a few days!

    Flotam Island is in the Gulf of Melange, not in the sea of Beige Flotsam, so probably unrelated.

    Flotsam is a nautical term for ship-debris (along with Jetsam), so a piraty referance is likely to appear more often in games, also outside the MI universe
