Do you ever think people will ever accept each other, despite our differences?
I honestly don't think it will ever happen.
That's the thing about most people in this world today, regarding different social groups and whatnot, is that they hate others who are different from them. I mean that's why we got hate groups like the KKK, the Black Panthers, and so on and so on.
These different hate groups not only hate each other, but they also hate people of their own race who do not support them.
And that's also the truth behind these different Political parties that we have in this country, the Republicans, and the Democrats. Both sides hate each other, and yet the ironic thing is is that both sides are made up of American citizens.
Same is true of the religions of today. We have different denominations of Christianity, and different variations of Muslims, & I mentioned these two religions in particular because they are the ones that have been in the news recently, yet these different denominations will war amongst themselves, even though at their root they are of the same belief system.
For example, during WWI, and WW2, Catholics and Protestants on both sides went to war against each other, even though they were technically of the exact same faith, Christianity. And both sides believed that God was on their side, and yet they both claimed to worship the same God.
And if you look at the situation is the middle East today, even though they're different variations of Muslims in that country, they are still warring against each other, when they both essentially come from the same faith.
On a sidenote, when it came to people going to war, and both sides believing that God was on their side, the late comedian George Carlin has this to say:
"America prays for God to destroy our enemies, our enemies pray for God to destroy us. Somebody's going to be disappointed! Somebody's wasting their fucking time! Could it be... everyone?"
And on that side note, while I do believe in God, Christianity, it just seems to me that God wouldn't favor one side over another, especially if both sides claim to worship him.
And here's something else: Of these two religions, why would people of the same religion, despite the different denominations, go to war and want to kill each other, if at their core they claim to belive the exact same things?
The main point I'm trying to make is, it seems that most people don't need a reason to hate somebody. It seems like pretty much any reason will do, if that reason makes that person different from them.
What do you think?

No. Prejudice has and always will exist in one way or another.
The only way it's impossible is if people stop trying. Realistically it seems very unlikely but we shouldn't stop trying and hoping for things to be better.
nah
I think it's a spectrum. everyone is different - Some people accept others for certain things and not others.
Without getting too political, i think it's inequality that leads to divisions.
Only when we do not allow people to fall into poverty, while others have more than their share, will we have a more broadly peaceful society.
In the meantime, remember that although many of us do not get along, or believe we coudlnt get along without even trying, there ARE many many people who are open minded - don't forget that they exist, and just try and be one of those people yourself if that's a value you believe in.
No. Tons of people are either uneducated or just want to see the world burn. That's why evil, unequality and ignorance will always exist.
Long as one man feels he is better and above the next man. Prejudiced people will always exist sadly.
It's a bit complicated to answer as each individual's judgments are not always for reasons we know or find understandable, but I believe it's possible, if one human has the ability to accept others regardless of their differences, then all humans could be possible of doing the same, for some, it will just take time, for others, it will require something different.
This is why we need a alien invasion so mankind can unite against a common enemy.
Nothing brings people together like hatred/fear
