Nintendo Switch
Hey there, there is any news about The Walking Dead, The Guardians of Galaxy, Batman and the other games from Telltale for Nintendo Switch?
It's a great console to have the kind of games telltale games do. I know the Minecraft Story it's confirmed but about the other ones?
Thank you so much

That console looks pretty overhyped. Doesn't that console forbidden mature games?
No? Where did you even get that idea
Nintendo consoles looks pretty much for young audience because it focuses a lot on Mario, Sonic, Zelda, Metroid etc.
Don't forget exclusives like Bayonetta, No More Heroes, Eternal Darkness, Madworld, etc. The most kid friendly of all.
And how the hell is Metroid kid friendly?
I guess my copies of REmake, 0, 2, 3, Code Veronica and 4 (REmake and 0 being only on the Gamecube and later Wii until the hd remasters, as well as 4 originally being a Gamecube exclusive)on the Gamecube + RE4 on the Wii don't actually exist too >__>
Then why aren't RE 5 and 6 on Nintendo consoles?
Those games don't see to give enough fun for matures.
Well, does it feature blood and gore?
Well it does feature plenty of corpses in some of the games, plus you're playing as a bounty huntress who travels the galaxy killing space pirates and whatever hostile creature the planets she goes to have, as well as bioweapons such as the metroids, which drain all of their host's blood.
Not to mention that the protagonist herself, Samus Aran, lost het parents as a child, even witnessing her mother's death.
Because the Wii couldn't run 5 and I don't know why 6 wasn't ported to the Wii U, but it did get Revelations 1, which originally was a Nintendo 3DS game.
Bruh...
I guess Eternal Darkness didn't get a 92 metacritic back in the day for being an amazing horror game. They totally hated how the game actively fucks with the player thanks to the sanity meter
No More Heroes 1and 2 didn't get 83 and 84 for their gameplay, writing and visual style
Madworld didn't get an 83 becsuse of its visual style, brutal and gory action and combat system
And Bayonetta 2 didn't win many "Best of" awards and glowing reviews because it was one of the best character action games of this generation
I dunno what else to say tbh...
And aside from M rated 3rd party ports or exclusives, for example, from Nintendo 2nd party studios (by which I mean Nintendo is the majority share holder) there's the Xenoblade series.
They may be rated T, but both Xenoblade 1 and X have plenty of deaths and darker themes. X especially has plenty of sidequests portraying its world as merciless or showing humans or aliens being very greedy or total assholes.
I still remember the sidequest which started off pretty normally with a team of 4 stereotypical characters giving you a simle job to do.
By the end though? The leader of the team was killed in front of the other 3, one survives, but he had gotten his ass kicked pretty badly. The other 2... well one got torn apart and was eaten alive right in front of the other, who by the end has severe PTSD.
I made a thread saying Guardians of the galaxy might come to switch
But nothing so far since Nintendo is trying new third party things even mature things like skyrim I would live to see games like guardians of walking dead on it.
???
Just because something doesn't have blood and gore doesn't mean it's for kids.
Hi there my local game store have a pre order of Guardian of galaxy https://www.gamingreplay.com/nintendo-switch/8772-marvel-s-guardians-of-the-galaxy-the-telltale-series-nintendo-switch-8772.html
Maybe its coming soon
Oh some stores have preorders? Hope telltale announces it soon.
I haven't seen Nintendo allow any Telltale games asides from Minecraft on their systems thus far.
Also, anyone else think that the Switch is going to get broken quickly by small children, one of their target audiences for their family gaming system? I haven't got anything against the Switch, I'm just a little sceptical of that fact is all.
Well I see where you are coming from but if you look into the switch a little more you might see Nintendo is trying something different and allowing more mature titles like skyrim. So the main audience might not just be kids this time. Also the switch screen is made of plastic a material that would be hard to break accidentally. Being a switch owner myself it feels completely different from other Nintendo consoles.
I wouldn't say they're "allowing " mature games nowadays, more like they're "investing" and talking to 3rd parties to put their games on their console.
Not exactly something entirely new I'd say. Didn't it start post 90's? Heck look at Conker's Bad Fur Day (made when Rare was still owned by Nintendo) had less censorship on the N64 than on the Xbox. And even then it's not like they didn't allow mature games even back in the 90's, though NoA and NoE were more adamant about censorsgip in certain cases than Nintendo of Japan.
The previous biggest push was probably on the Wii U, though that died when even Nintendo gave up on it.
