Season 2

Joker for season 2 what do you think??

Based on season 1 ending

  • He's going to fuck us up something fierce, turning the people we love against us. As much as I've voiced my disatisfaction with Joker being the main antagonist for a potential season 2 I will admit he is perfect for what Telltale are known for : tough choices.

Yeah, we all know where this is going. He wants to "break" the bat figuratively, save X or Y only one possible outcome. You can't save everyone and all that.

Obviously if we did not part ways on speaking terms with Selina Joker is going to recruit her, or to manipulate her somehow.

My two cents on the issue.

  • Yup right about that. The way it ended was the joker saying " See u around Brucie" looked quite cool. But anyways he will be the perfect villain for season two turning Bruce's own friends against him just like in the move The Dark Knight.

  • Actually he said "seen you soon brucie". Which sort of implies season two could take place very soon after S1. Like 3 weeks at most.

  • Hopefully its released soon lol

  • And I hope not. A good script takes time.

I'm not in a rush really, it's not like we are running out of Batman material to dive into.

  • Not that easy to tell on forums.

Best possible outcome is for Telltale to take as much time as necessary to produce an all around better season two.

  • I'm actually pretty interested to see how John Doe will fit into the Bruce Wayne storyline. I mean we've seen the Joker's intriguing relationship with Batman time and again but I find what Telltale's done with him and Bruce really unique and interesting. The man helps you escape Arkham so he seems like a chaotic ally at the moment. I just love his "There's something about this guy..." attitude towards Bruce and I can't wait to see more of that.

"I've been watching you for a while now, Bruce and I can tell there's something darker in you"

  • "I know what you are". He knows Bruce = Batman.

And it's going to be really fascinating to see what he is up to with this intel.

  • I may be in the minority but I hope John Doe/Joker is more of a backseat player in season 2 than the main antagonist. I have Joker fatigue at this point and facing against his pure crazy ass psychosis just doesn't seem that interesting to me as a main narrative. I would love if Joker remains more of a questionable ally to Batman in S2 and Telltale takes more liberties with that dynamic.

  • Honestly, I'd love a season focused on the Court of Owls, but based on the first season's final scene, It doesn't look very likely and they'll probably do a Joker focused story.

  • At this point until a major change of direction occurs Joker is THE antagonist for season 2.

  • It's official. MCSM season 2 first episode coming July 11!

  • Good for those who were looking forward to it but I struggle to see the relevance for Batman.

  • MC is crap, well, I guess all good gaming companies have an end, I would rather have batman or TWAU season 2

  • One does not exclude the other. Batman S2 might be on the cards but we will have to be patient.
