What part of the World is this?

  • It's not the U.S. They're driving on the right side of the road (unless the video's been flipped), but the road markings aren't U.S. standard.

  • Almost every country that isn't a former British colony(even then, there are exceptions) drives on the right. The biggest hint aside from the land is probably the road sign at the 30s mark.

  • Actually, the road sign at the very end of the video is rather distinctive. The curved road sign with the line touching both edges is pretty much just used in Russia(for European countries).

  • That's all I got. Probably going to have to wait for our international friends to wake up.

  • I'll go out on a limb and say Kazakhstan.

  • My guess would be this is somewhere in the Balkan countries, just judging by the view.

  • It could be any part of the northern part of the Patagonia, judging by the desertic part at the end. This guy probably tried to drive from Chile to Argentina (or from Argentina to Chile... but last time I visited Chile there were more copper mountains, which I don't see there. It could be any other part of Chile though), but most of the video looks like they're driving south or north, instead of west or east. Maybe the Seven Lakes road? I don't know, because I can't see any lake and it's a little high. I asume it's the south of Argentina/Chile, 40 Road, because of the trees, since at north it's more rocky and desertic, and more at north (where it's not even Chile or Argentina anymore) it's more of a jungle like forest. It's strange that there are wires, though. And I've never seen signs like those.

    It could be anywhere, honestly.
