Skeleton on Island

Hey guys,

On one of the islands, Guybrush comes across a skeleton, and makes a comment about how he died on an island, stung to death by scorpions, and that this was somehow familiar. What's he referring to? Unless it's revealed later (I haven't played much), I'm drawing a total blank.

    The Voodoo Lady has a diorama in her hut with a similar scene.

    SPOILER ............ if you look at the sceleton and then at the locket you can see a similar resembelence.

    Ouch good catch. I hadn't noticed that. I wonder how the Voodoo Lady would actually feel if she knew her spell worked.

    The other skeleton with the sword in his chest on Jerkbait Islands is straight out of the PotC ride at disneyland. The seagull on his hat is what seals it.

    Yes, but what about the voodoo lady's curse? Care to remind me what that was?
