I have the minecraft season 1 in my GOG.exe launcher i want to buy the season 2 in steam do i need to buy season 1 in steam so i have the same story?

No I don’t think you do have to buy season 1 on steam since you have a telltale account if you sign into your account in season 1 you can upload your Choices to the cloud and then when season 2 is out just sign into your telltale account again and it should find your choices. Almost the same thing happened for me when I was downloading the new walking dead game so it should work this way.
