#A THREAT TO ALL OF GAMING...FUCKING VIVENDI IS COMING!

So my friends say

Who is this Vivendi people keep talking about on the internet and act like it's the worst thing ever like the freaking anti-christ

These are the people who were so horrible, Activision gave them money to go away. It can definitely get worse. - internet person

These kinds of commentary I find on the internet so might anyone inform me please

    As far as I know, Vivendi is a a French mass media company which has activities also in video games industry. After increasing their investment in the company Gameloft, they managed to buy the company from the CEO,Michel Guillemot, in 2016.

    Now, Vivendi is investing in Ubisoft. Right now their shares are about 26%. If they continue to buy Ubisoft's shares they could basically try to buy the company. The CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot (brother of Michel Guillemot) sees is as a hostile takeover attempt from Vivendi's side.

    However I might be wrong in some point so take it with a grain of salt.
