Unussed items in episode 2? POSSIBLE SPOILERS

So, I was wondering, there were unussed items in Episode 2.

The first one was Elains ring, but ok, that item you had to get so I guess it will be used in the upcomming episodes.

But second, the fish eggs? Why the hell did we get that things? There was no place to use them, and it would be stupid if we got to have them in episode 3 even though we hadn't to get them.

And I believe there was one more item that was unussed, but can't remember now.

So, did I miss something, or what were the eggs for?

I'm pretty sure the fish eggs were only a hint/distraction, in fact you could've used them to fish in the "Fishing Wheel" but with no big results :)

My bet is the ring is there so Guybrush can "accidently" propose to You-know-who sometime in the next episodes. That would really be quite a mess.

    Ah... good thinking. Very sitcom-esque!

You can also use them on the bbq.

I'm pretty sure those are "red herring eggs"

Which is rather disturbing when you consider that they're used as bait for a red herring.

They was helpfull for me, because I used them in the fishing well without results, and when I found the other bait I immediately ran to the fishing well remembering what happened with the eggs.

Surely the ring is the one that turned Elaine into gold, in curse? So I'm all for using it but I think she knows a little to much of Guybrush's History to fall for that one

Also I have a holey bucket that I was sure you needed as a fishing net.

What I would have realy like was a snuff box.

No the ring you have is the one that freed her from being gold. If you look at it Guybrush says something like "This is the wedding ring I gave Elaine... the uncursed one..."

what are those fish eggs you speak of? Where do you get them? I've finished the game without ever picking up such thing.

The holey bucket was used with the coals....!

The ring- i think "accidental" proposal might be in order....

You can get the fake golden turtle again but there is no more use of it. :)

I don't know about you guys, but I think Guybrush is the kind of man that when he sees his girl getting too close to another man (like Elaine and LeChuck) would flirt with another woman just to make her jealous. :p

You can also offer the different kinds of bait as a snack to the MerLeader :D
