The website is broken! (for me)
Some weird things started happening to me a week ago on the forums...
Even though I am logged in, it doesn't show my nickname & avatar in the top right corner, it just says 'my account' as if I'm not signed in.
Also, clicking on 'my account' always leads me to 'My Games' instead of the 'Profile' section.
When I get notifications, clicking on the bell also leads me to 'My Games' instead of the 'Feed' section.
So far I've tried:
- logging out and back in, didn't help.
- resetting Chrome settings, didn't help.
- logging out and back into my Google account, didn't help.
- did a full system wipe, didn't help. (didn't wipe the system because of this, I had to fix something else)
I don't know if I'm the only one, or if this is a common occurrence but it's pretty weird.
If this is the wrong place to ask for help, just point me in the right direcion, thanks.

That's a deliberate site change; they did a backend update to the site a few days ago that also made some other tweaks. It's confusing at first, but yes, it is deliberate.
It doesn't make any sense. Why would a button with the words my account lead you to the My Games section, or the notification bells not leading you to your feed? Not very practical if you ask me.
I hope this is just temporary, and they're working on something better.
So, does that mean everything this update broke is actually deliberate? Like, for example, that we cannot access older notifications anymore? Or that we don't get any notifications from followed discusions? Or that the overview of our latest posts doesn't really work as it used to? Or that the "My account" button and the notification bell don't actually lead to their supposed destinations? Or that our profile pictures aren't displayed at the upper right corner? Oh man, if that is truly intentional, then someone at Telltale seems to have a really odd understanding of improving this site, because aside from the edit button having reappeared after a whole year of being gone, none of these tweaks seem even remotely helpful. Especially the broken feed is quite a heavy problem when it comes to the functionality of the site.
I mean, I can understand such updates are necessary at times, especially with this larger site update that is supposed to come at some point in the next two decades, but these oddities seem like outright glitches. I cannot imagine that anyone from the web team would willingly include these things, so on the off chance that one of them actually reads this, these things needs to be either fixed or at least brought into proper working condition rather sooner than later if they want to provide a properly working forum even before launching that big update they seem to focus on, but which doesn't sem to come anytime soon. It took them one year between the last big update and this and so far, this one has only made things worse, notably so. I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to web development, but I like to think that restoring the button that allows us to load older notifications from our feed shouldn't take too long, at least compared to building up an entirely new layout for the forum as they seem to plan.

When some users think it's a glitch, and not a real update- that's when you know you f'd up.
I just checked and everything is fine on my phone.
One trick I figured out about logging in. You have to log in from the home page. If you have a bookmark directly into some other page, such as the Community page, it won't let you log in from there. (It throws up a message when you try that something went wrong and you should try again in a minute. Trying again in a minute doesn't help.)
It no longer says I have notifications...
The notification bell only shows up when you have new notifications now. They also retroactively removed the old "unread" notifications in your feed up until the site update hit a few days back.

First, Telltale games started to suck and now they have broken their community site with their stupid update nobody asked for.

I think I find a little flaws on the site... I started playing Tales from the borderlands but seem kind of like making my choices in my profile conflicting.. I didn't see my ANF choices so I went up and run the game again and said something about the clouds conflicting.. I dunno.. It's weird, Telltale should fix this ASAP
I feel like writing a strong-worded letter to Telltale about their games and updates to this forum, telling them to just get their shit together.
I don't think it'll do us any good. Maybe they will read this one day and just get their shit together.
