Is It Legal To Download Game Trailers?

Hey,
I want to download trailers of my favorite games but I don't know where I can find any to download (that are free of malware).
If there was a place to download high quality game trailers, do you think that it's legal, or not?

It's kinda like downloading game soundtracks. Many people have a different take on it.
Some say it's pirating, others say it's not. Of course, it also depends what country you're in.

    If you're downloading a public trailer for your own personal use, that's not illegal. It should be something in a video format, like *.mp4 or *.webm, definitely not a *.exe, because who knows what that is.

    There are rumored ways to keep a copy of streaming video, but I'm not going to help with that.

    As long as it's for personal use it should be fine.

    You could use a variety of video downloaders like Freemake to do it.

    The only way I know how to is to subscribe to YouTube red and then you can do it but that has a monthly fee. There are a couple websites (forgot what thier called) where you just copy and paste the link of the trailer and it will convert it to a video file on your computer. Also I’m pretty sure it’s leagal as long as you don’t claim it as your own somewhere.

    It's completely legal, the trailers are public and not restricted so of course it's legal. As for where to download them, just look them up on YouTube and then go here:

    It's worked for me whenever I need extra stuff for videos I work on.

    I would not think it is illegal, even seeing as how the former site GameTrailers.com allowed you to download game trailers for free.

    As long as you are not doing anything such as violating copyright/fair use/etc or trying to sell trailers or whatever, I would think downloading game trailers for personal use is totally okay.

    Obviously, I am not a lawyer nor am I Telltale Staff, but you know, just my five cents and all. :p
