Three complaints

Ok, so I loved it this time around... But I had two issues.

Visibility of vital objects:
the crowbar on the turtle stand. Luckily I just happened to figure... maybe you can push the whole thing off the cliff, so I tried clicking the stand which resulted in picking up the crowbar, but I had no idea it was there prior to that. I did happen to find the bucket soon after I tried looking for something to pick up the coals, but it was not very visible either.

Solution to taking turtle artifact out of stand:
When you talk to LeChuck, Guybrush specifically gets exasperated by Lechuck and tells him he'll just do it himself. This made me think there was a solution to find... instead, you're supposed to give him the crowbar, which I tried soon after trying everything else.

The last thing that bothered me is plot related:
Elaine gave Guybrush specific directions to tell Lechuck to save the leader of the mer...folk, and there was no following consequence for the disobedience. Despite some banter that made their relationship sound solid, there was alot of hints that Elaine actually was falling for Lechuck which was... strange.

And apparently I'm the only one who found this episode easier than the first.

I also had give-the-crowbar-to-LeChuck issue. I think that this chapter had a few stupid interface puzzles that the first chapter lacked.

In the first chapter, whenever I got stuck and eventually figured out a puzzle, I was like, "Wow, clever designers. That makes sense." In the second chapter, I had two problems that, in my opinion, were just due to bad design. The first was Brillig Island; I couldn't find it on the map. I figured out the pyrite parrot, almost instantly, but then I thought that I had solved the puzzle wrong, after going to every noticeable island on the map and hearing nothing. Granted, it's not as bad at the rope in MI2, but I thought it should have been more obvious on the map.

Second, was giving LeChuck the crowbar. I figured out right away that I wanted to let LeChuck try to remove the turtle, but that option should have been possible via dialog. At the very least, I feel like I should have been able to ask him to try it, and then heard him complain about not having the proper tools or something. As it was, Guybrush seemed so against the idea that I assumed he would have refused to give LeChuck the crowbar if I had tried to use it on him.

In both cases, I understood the (fairly simple) puzzles, but the game's interface made the solutions difficult to put into action. This is one of the most frustrating and least fun ways to get stuck in an adventure game, and I really hope that in the following chapters, I have no further problems like this. Otherwise, keep up the great work TellTale! This series has been pretty amazing so far!
