I really do not want Telltale to go too far..

I mean, The Joker already messed up the "grounded in reality" tone in S1. I personally just want TT to continue with existing villains, and not go too far from reality.

Thoughts?

  • Don't see how John Doe stems from reality in any way. There is nothing supernatural about him, at least for now.

  • Hes a mental patient no one remembers admitting and has everyone wrapped his finger, while having plot significant information for no reason. The joker has plans, as insane as they are, but John is just there to direct the player and make fans piss themselves with excitement because ohmahgawd joker!

  • Yes, and ? It's not explained how he came to know so much but I don't see how it's not grounded.

We are not talking about magic here. Guy has connections obviously.

I mean... we are talking about the Batman universe here, that isn't entirely realistic on its own. Hey, if it were realistic, then it would be boring and too predictable. Bruce's face should constantly be bruised and smashed to hell and people would definitely take notice. Realism isn't one of the things that drive any Batman universe, and I hope it stays that way. The Joker has always been a very over dramatic and mysterious character; I think they're sticking to that and I, for one, don't have a lot of complaints.

  • Well, Season 1 was pretty realistic. I do not expect that to change completely.

  • Wait. So a crazy guy with bleached skin makes it less grounded but a big blue dude with super human strength is completely normal?

  • Totally forgot about Ronald. xD

Yeah. Again, I do not wish for Tt to too far.

  • Of course, and I do agree to an extent. I like the direction the series is currently heading in - I hope that it continues on the path.

  • Tbh I'd rather they not keep it completely realistic since than they'd limit the villains they could use
