Does anyone feel this way?

That was a Pure Brilliant starting to a game Monkey Island chap 2 ... with sword fighting ...realy realy amazing :O :D loved it

    hell yh first time I played when I relised
    getting the bird to move would let me get hand (I didnt relise it beat morgan)
    I went a nother go round cos I liked it so much

    Yeah. That scene has been the highlight of ToMI for me thus far.

    It was well made scene and great opening for second chapter. Jumping around the ship reminded me about some old pirate movies where they had similar sword fights.

    I thought the animation and camera angles were really well done - all the thrusts and parries and the jumping around the ship by Guybrush and Morgan... it looked incredible and it was really fun to play through :)

    I agree - this scene was excellent.

    Its also a great example of how 3D gives a lot more freedom.

    The opening duel was amazing. It reminded me a lot of the swordfights in the last version of Sid Meier's Pirates :

    Which is a good thing, IMO (just like the sea battles in CoMI were a tribute to the sea battles in the original Pirates)
