Stuck after today massive update

Hi all, I bought the game yesterday, I stopped playing when I was in the bar talking to Selina (episode 2), after today massive update when I load the game I get a weird graphical bug (essentially I see the bar from above and I have something blocking 3/4 of my screen) and there's a fight going on with some goons and basically I can't do anything other than smash my w-a-s-d-q-e keys trying to win the fight blindly. I tried 3 times already and always end up killed or something (I just get the game over message), any chance for a fix, or any warkaround?
I also tried to restart episode 2, but apparently there is no option to do that (despite the fact I have always had the chance to rewind/restart in most of the other TT games..)

    I have the same problem but in a different location. What version do you have. I mean where did you get it from. I bought mine from telltale store.

    Same here, only with episode one on the gala

    Steam version.

    Btw the same happened again later on in episode 2, before the debate while speaking with Gordon and Catwoman on the roof.

    Same here, stuck in episode 5.
    The game no longer accepts commands, so I just die.
    The scene with gordon and catwoman was bugged also (just seeing the crime alley and not the dialogue, but the game proceeded).

    I had this issue in episode 1. at the party scene.
