About Episode 1

I just finished playing Episode 1 and impatiently waiting for episode 2 already.

Right before playing it I replayed season 1 whole, and I gotta say, in season 2 they really outdid themselves!
I was immediately impressed by the new graphics, all that new shading, new formats, or new Button-Press layouts. I liked that you got different options of ways to punch someone, because it kept me on the edge of my seat, I appreciated being more interactive with the game.
Also, there were so many dilemmas within the game that I felt my brain was frying up from all those decisions, and that was amazing! I'm gonna replay it 3 more times just to get all of the other outcomes. Plus, I can't wait to see how the consequences of those actions are gonna come back and bite me in the most hurtful way.
Quick-Thinking timers where you had to make fast decisions were a great addition. It felt way more action-inclined than season 1.
Gotta say, good job Telltale.

On another note, I really enjoy the whole character relationships stats, and how you affect that with the people around you depending on what you do. Joker was of a main interest with me, while Lucius' daughter was the least.

I'm gonna make another comment here with a spoiler, because I don't want to close off this whole thread to many others just because they haven't gotten the game yet. I wanna hear everyone's take on the game anyhow.

    Now, about that spoiler.

It's about Joker. I decided to keep a distant relationship with him, because I am sure that's what Batman would have done.

In season 1 I kept silent and avoided making any promises. In season 1 I told him that I didn't want to get involved in anything he was planning, then stayed silent when he Hinted at being best buddies and partners. I didn't want to either threaten him, or tell him that we Trusted each other, because I felt those were things he would remember.
Finally, I decided Not to track him. After all, he is the Joker, and being smart as he is he would have found out one way or another. And I am pretty sure Joker would show his real face soon enough anyhow.

On another note. I think Joker's "contacts" (the people he wanted us to meet" and The Riddler's "contacts" (those people pulling strings on him) are the same people. An elite in Gotham moving in the shadows. It quite reminded me of the Court of Owls from the comics to be honest. I think we are dealing with a secret rich clan of people moving in the shadows of Gotham, and I think that's actually what the Agency wants to know about.
