Location of La Sponga Grande revealed in Ep 2!

I believe that the location of the giant sponge is revealed in Episode 2. Here is my theory:

What does the locket that the Voodoo Lady gave Guybrush look like? A sponge...

Where does the sponge-looking locket go in Episode 2? Inside the giant stuffed manatee in DeCava's shack...

Therefore, I believe the sponge is inside the giant manatee.

My only question is, how do they get the sponge out? I would guess there are four possibilities:

1) They cut their way out (too gruesome for TTG or MI...)
2) The nose (sneezed out)
3) The mouth (burped or vomited out)
4) (Don't wanna go there...)

The only thing I know for sure, is that I can't wait to see what happens next!

    btw, if you try to use the fish eggs on the manatee Guybrush says something like 'There must be a better way to get to his stomach.'

    Iono abt le sponga de grande ..
    but the decava guy is sure in that giant fishy thing that ate the ship...maybe has the sponge on him...

    i agree that i the sponge is inside. but i had never thought about the whole sponge lockey on the manatee thing . good eye. hmm i hope they go thru the mouth. i dont wanna leave the screaming narwall until i can hug the mast

    use ipecac syrup!!!!!!!!!! (just like the snake in curse of monkey island)
    we also may find McGillicutty in manatee... as he was swallowed by the sea!

    the location of the Sponge in shown on a map in episode 2 actually....

    To reach it, you'll have to use the stomach of a manatee.... that's my theory anyway.

    First of all, Telltale stole this idea from the Bible, hehe! I also think that La Esponja Grande may be inside the giant manatee as the manatee is definitely big enough! As for getting out, I am not sure... that is why I am anticipating the release of the 3rd episode so that I can find out how they escape and whether LeFlay will remain a pirate hunter or join Guybrush's crew! There's a lot of questions that will be answered in "Lair of the Leviathan" and I for one just cannot wait!

    I don't think the sponge is inside the manatee, I think it's inside it's lair. The manatee is just the transport, i don't think we'll even get to play inside it (maybe, not sure).

    I always imagined the lair of the leviathan would be its stomach. Why would there be an extra "lair" if we're already inside one? Exploring the imagined inside of a giant manatee does it for me :)

    was it a manatee too lol :P it reminds me of pinocchio lol
