Oh jeez there are so many. I’m going to exclude movie video games because their always bad. I would say sonic 06. If you want to know about a game that just didn’t live up to expectations Star Wars battlefront I was so hyped for it but became disappointed.

I think I've been fortunate in that I haven't played many games that I genuinely disliked. I think one time I said "I fucking hate this game" was with Modern Warfare 3. That game just got me so angry.

Recycling every single idea of the original game. There was NOTHING new in that game.
Terrible and forgettable antagonists.
Hiding being no option at all because the enemy AI is too fucking smart. They know where you're hiding without getting spotted.
Pussiest protagonist ever. He doesn't know how to defend himself and he lets one-armed enemies strangle him to death. Use your fucking fists, you idiot.
Barely connected to the first game.
The fucking Ending. It is definitely a DLC cash grab. One was enough, you don't need to make more DLCs to just understand the story. So fuck you, Red Barrels. Resident Evil 7 is the one who takes the cake from me, not your stupid chasing simulator.
I even tried to platinum this game but I speak for everyone who ever tried the insane mode when I say FUCK THIS FUCKING PIECE OF GODDAMN BULLSHIT IN PARTICULAR, I almost smashed my controller at that point and I sold the game, no regrets.
That one site game when you would spank Elsa's naked butt.
And yeah, No Man's Sky.
I also think this forum is a good place to say Life is Strange, but I'm not gonna say it.
1. The save slots, I can't replay the game without deleting my other save but Ubisoft didn't bother to put a delete button on it anyway so I had to use Youtube to find out how to delete it.
2. The Main menu of the game gives me one big headache
3. The opening soundtrack of the menu basicly all the soundtrack in the game is bad and forgetable.
4. They wasted the setting of the game.
5. The game starts with telling you your in a video game... Oke wtf why are the Assassin's an ancient order I remind you that exist pre human history hacking video game consoles? the game doesn't even bother explaining really.
6. The British voice acting got on my nerve of almost snapping everyones neck in the game I'M IN FUCKING FRANCE WHY IS EVERYONE BRITISH (I had to look up for the expanded universe for the answer), it doesn't help that 99% of the game characters sucked balls (and I just insulted every guys balls on the internet to be compared to Unity I am sorry!!) so Unity has made me FUCKING HATE British voice acting in all of gaming and I have started to like AC3 with immense pleasure more knowing I am killing British people! (not insulting British people here just game characters).
7. The cover of the game is decent but makes no sense with the overal expierence of the AC game if you don't play multiplayer.
8. The multiplayer sucked.
9. Almost everything in France is the fucking same looking structure! the light effects don't help.
10. Arno's design (main protagonist) while cool looking is very stupid in the open World, Altair could easily hide with his clothes and Ezio could hide in Venice with eas... Arno's clothes don't fit any place he goes while the other characters do have fitting clothes that fit the area's they are in.
11. Every cutscene is shot in places that could easily be everyelse they have no value to the overal story but that has to do with the story part I guess.
12. The loading scenes are black and boring to look at!
13. The NPC's are in my way and way to dumb
14. The AI sucks they are retards.
15. The stealth is broken!
16. Arno's climbing animation's are stupid it's like ARNO TRYING TO FUCK BUILDINGS!
17. The customization was decent but it failed like the game itself, why do you give me hundreds of fucking weapons if I am only gonna use 3 through out the game anyway and even if I used other weapons they function all the same
18. They are no fist fights
19. There is no weapon weal
20. They removed several options like pet the dog.
21. The skill tree is garbage and useless how can an adult not know that!
22. ARNO NEEDS UPGRADES TO SIT ON A BENCE AND TO STAB TWO PEOPLE THAT IS ONE POINT ON IT'S OWN
23. I had to use 4 accounts to complete the game 100% on day one cause Ubisoft is trying to prevent me from playing the game?
24. Combat is harder by removing killing spree and human shield which makes the combat just to be a downgrade version of the other games.
25. Arno's character design not his outfit but his look he has an Ezio clone look
26. It's Arnaud not Arno but we had to reference AC2 the river in Florence yeah this game started to make me hate Ezio slowly.
27. Helix points are useless don't bother
28. The map is overstuffed with side missions nobody cares about they are so uninspired and boring.
29. Paris isn't even that big if you ask me just overstuffed it feels like a village to me.
30. The game is so extreme historical inaccurate the game could take place in The Lord of the Rings universe.
31. The frame rate is awful.
32. Arno doesn't go everywhere I want him to go JUST GO INTO THE DAMN FUCKING BUILDING
33. Arno puts his weapons away in battle this lead to my dead multiple times.
34. There are glitches still to this day
35. There are random hookers on the street cause... Reasons he remember they had a function in AC2, Brotherhood, AC4?
36. The historical database from the games feel not inspired at all.
37. When you look at the background most of the times characters have less detail than you which would make sense untill they are supposed to be on screen like ther Assassin Bellec was in the corner with a low texture model but when the camera went to him the model was replaced with a better one I noticed it.
38. When you become an Assassin the Assassin's give you drugs and the hole section is inspired by Batman Arkham City but than a shitty version AKA look up Assassin's Creed Unity: The Rant Trilogy Part 3 around the three minute mark.
39.During cutscenes random NPC's walk through the characters and talk over the characters the game is focused on so the game forced everyone to use subtitles so far I know
40.The lock picking I hate it like seriously it's fucked up stupid there is no skill required.
41.He remember when you went to multiple city's? Yeah I remember that except in Brotherhood and Revelations but from my expierence Brotherhood was an actual city to me and it was bigger, you had to use horses in that game to get agrose the city instead in Unity that forces you to go over roof tops and easier and faster to get at the end of the city and not in a good way.
42. Some transitaioms between cutscenes and gameplay is awful because characters have not been loaded yet so they just pop in here and there and that probably has to do with the amount of NPC's still when the camera switches Arno's clothes fly around like a ADHD person.
43. The world of AC Unity handles everyone who is poor as a dumb piece of shit human being and one of my friends s poor so I feel offended.
44. The enemy types in the game are all the same, I never really liked that in any of the AC games but this time I can't even tell if some of them have a better rang, they either are big/fat and all fight the same anyway.
45. Arno Dorian is official the Worst written character I have ever seen in any kind of media.
46. The story is the worst written piece of shit I have ever EVER witnessed in my fucking life! I AM REAL WITH YOU! Just speaking of the story jus makes me angry and mad I wish the person who wrote this garbage is banned from video games or anything related to writing in general! I am so impressed by the shitty writing that I still keep bitching on it today, what surprises me for a story that is so bad written is that it had 4 years the time to be written but feels more like a draft from a 8 year old who only played AC2 for like 15 minutes. I don't give a shit if you like this story but you NEVER ever should review or criticise a story in your life at all! I feel so bad that people walk around claiming that this has a good story or is just decent this story is a step back in human evolution and the script is only good to wipe your ass with it but even my own shit would be offended by this script!
One of the worst parts on the marketing team is that the mislead you and they said if you haven't played the previous games that you would understand it no you don't beside the main character wants to kiss his step sister every second.
47. There was no Modern Day: I have noticed in AC games where this is no Modern Day that the story of the game has hardly any impact on the world in AC and this game has non so this story shouldn't exist to begin with hell I was worried what was going on outside the simulation part.
The Modern Day gives an actual reason to visit these times in history and if you remove it you get a Episodic game structure where most of the story's just don't matter anyway why would I bother with the Origins of the Brotherhood if I know what happens in AC1 and etc.
Modern Day was the one thing that hooked me on this franchise when I was a kid and still today and instead of some stupid morons demand it to be removed you should ask them to improve it!
You know I am really tired and I probably can come up with more but fuck it this game is depressive shit
The Jurassic Park game. I'm sure there's far worse games out there, but something about this one just rubbed me the wrong way. It was boring, cheesy, the characters were annoying stereotypes, and nothing made any fucking sense.

yeah you're right except for the new enemies, new concepts, new camera functions, new characters, new antagonist motivations, random psychadelic trips in schools and the healing mechanic.

Barely connected to the first game.
how is trying to stand on your own without sucking the dick of your predecessors a bad thing?

can't argue there. ending was shit.

no mate, i'm afraid you don't actually speak for the 229,000+ other people who bought the game and obviously tried insane mode due to curiosity like most gamers do.
Outlast 2 for many reasons:

Roblox is the worst game ever imaginable because it has hashtags when you say something, for example, I try to say LOL but it says ###!
In the popular section, whenever i try looking around for cool games, it shows the sponsered games. Just make a sponsered section! ):<
There are many more things i hate about this game but its terrible to me fyi
you know that all of these things were in the first game as well, right?
That's pretty different.
The chase segments weren't repetitive in the first game. Compare the pacing of the first game with the second one, it wasn't "First chase, second another chase, third yet another chase etc", it was more Walking>Exploring>Puzzle>Being Hunted etc. There were like only 2 chases in the first game.
The story was pretty understandable in the first game. Everyone who played it knew what was going on. The second game though? Absolutely not.
The antagonists like Doctor Trager and Eddie Gluskin were pretty memorable and had amazing voice-acting. How can anyone forget them, especially their catchphrases "Buddy" and "Darling"?
Miles and Waylon didn't use weapons as well, I know but it was understandable because all this time in the asylum, they were dealing with patients who were just innocent people who were trying to survive and couldn't trust everyone. The first game is meant to be inspired by Amnesia and Outlast 2 was nothing like that.
how is trying to stand on your own without sucking the dick of your predecessors a bad thing?
Outlast 2 has nothing to remind us about the first game. All the information is found by a hidden note nobody found while playing for the first time.
that's more like a personal problem and not an objective problem.
Not it's not. The AI of the second time is too fucking smart, they know where to find you without being seen hiding wherever. Do you remember the section where you have to push the cart to hop over the gate but Marta is hunting you in that level? That's where I stopped playing the insane mode. I fucking hate that bitch and that stupid section. Hiding was never an option in that area.

well then i guess i'm just criminally insane because i remember quite a few chase segments.
The story was pretty understandable in the first game. Everyone who played it knew what was going on. The second game though? Absolutely not.
i disagree. the first game's story was very vague and confusing until the end of the second half, which is perfect for me because i like to be engaged and interested in a story while not being told everything.
The antagonists like Doctor Trager and Eddie Gluskin were pretty memorable and had amazing voice-acting. How can anyone forget them, especially their catchphrases "Buddy" and "Darling"?
that's actually a fair point.
Miles and Waylon didn't use weapons as well, I know but it was understandable because all this time in the asylum, they were dealing with patients who were just innocent people who were trying to survive and couldn't trust everyone.
So I have a question, what about the batshit insane people Miles and Waylon came across that deserved to die or at least be attacked? Is it still understandable then?
The first game is meant to be inspired by Amnesia and Outlast 2 was nothing like that.
I disagree. In fact I think Outlast 2 is far more like Amnesia story wise than the first game. Gameplay wise? Not really. But the story is a lot more similar.
Outlast 2 has nothing to remind us about the first game. All the information is found by a hidden note nobody found while playing for the first time.
That did not answer my question.
Not it's not.
Yes it is. Complaining about a game's difficulty is ALWAYS personal problem. Unless the game uses artificial difficulty, which IMO Outlast 2 does not, difficulty is always a subjective problem. Some people hate Dark Souls II because of the hitboxes and weird rolling, yet I never have as many issues with that difficulty therefore I love the game. It's completely subjective.
The AI of the second time is too fucking smart, they know where to find you without being seen hiding wherever.
Oh so like a realistic situation where you're trapped in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of religious crazies and their super bitch?
Do you remember the section where you have to push the cart to hop over the gate but Marta is hunting you in that level?
Why yes I do, and it was very difficult. And I enjoyed it immensely.

Well, Miles did mention that he wanted Trager to die according to his recording files. Both Miles and Waylon defended themselves from these assholes while Blake just let Marta come to stab him in the crotch but he was conveniently rescued by cross Ex-Machina.

Realism is killing video games, you know? In this game, hiding is not an option at all. All you have to do is just run.

Or at least they could have just added checkpoints at the end of every chapter because of this game's length. You just have to survive a 5 hour game without dying. I'd rather play RE7 Madhouse mode.

Wanting Trager to die is not the same as picking up a weapon and attacking him. The only reason the good doctor himself died is because Miles got really lucky.
Realism is killing video games, you know?
Not really. Realistic games can be quite fun if they're done right. Saying that such a broad subject is "killing video games" is objectively incorrect.
In this game, hiding is not an option at all. All you have to do is just run.
There were numerous moments in my first playthrough where I hid from enemies, granted for a VERY short time before getting caught, but I do understand where you're coming from. Hiding isn't always viable.

But that'd like ruin the point of the entire mode???? The whole point is that you can't save and you restart upon death, it's called a fucking challenge run. Outlast 1 had the same mode. You don't have to play insane mode you know, it's literally fucking optional. Difficulty is still a subjective problem and you have the right to skip over the mode completely.

I don't remember a lot of bad games I've played, but one I do remember is Rambo The Video Game from 2014. Jesus christ, that game was bad. I'm surprised this game has even made it to a publisher. The gameplay, graphics, animations, literally everything was bad in that game.
For me it's gotta be bloody ratchet and clank, the remaster that come out in 2016. Maybe I'm just being stupid bc I a huge fan of the original series but goddamn I hated that game.
Mass Effect Andromeda, not because its a bad game, but because I was so excited to step back into the Mass Effect universe, but what we got was very mediocre
Okay, here's what I consider the worst game of all time:
In the US this game is known as EyeToy: Operation Spy. If you don't remember the EyeToy it was this little digital camera device for the PlayStation 2 that could capture movement and take pictures (in terrible quality mind you) think of it as an even worse Kinect.
Now to be fair, the EyeToy had a few DECENT games. But I played them was I was far younger and would probably dislike them now, most of the games made for it were for a casual gaming crowd (and that's pretty obvious to be honest) but I when I played SpyToy? Oh boy... it was the worst gaming experience I ever had to endure.
It's a selection of all these stupid espionage mini-games and the fool that I was thinking that this game even a small chance of being anything good, even decent like the EyeToy Play series was. But my lord, I was wrong. SpyToy is the biggest pile of absolute interactive shit I've ever had to play, all the mini-games are terrible, it's actually hard to pick which one is slightly better than all of the garbage, it's legitimately hard to pick but I guess the parachute one if you're lucky enough to get it working. And that is IF you get it working, it was the most glitchy and messy one of them all. So the fact I'm saying the most glitchy and broken mini-game is the best one you know you've made it bad. Oh and it had all of this password protection crap and this burglar alarm system which was just stupid. Even me a ten or eleven year old at the time knew that it was stupid, it meant keeping your dumbass game console and TV on 24/7 AND the login to even play on the game was just pure moronic! What was I even going to fucking lose? If I really wanted people to go onto my save to play it I'd fucking let them, it'd be their torture and I'd laugh.
It tried way too hard to be "Cool" and it made me not only trade in the game but I wanted a refund since this downright offensive product made me almost have a mental breakdown. And the worst thing is that it has a Metacritic rating of 53%? fifty-fuckin-three?!?! I flat-out want to become a game critic now just to give this game a 0.
Alright, rant over. NEVER EVER play this game. It isn't one of those games that it's so bad that it's good, like The Room is for films. If you want to compare it to a film compare it to Jack & Jill, for just being flat-out awful and having no redeeming qualities. This game is my arch-enemy and it was the first video game I ever played that I actually loathed, and I kept it ever since. If it wasn't for my fuckin' Yu-Gi-Oh cards my childhood would've been ruined by this trainwreck.
For me it's gotta be bloody ratchet and clank, the remaster that come out in 2016. Maybe I'm just being stupid bc I a huge fan of the original series but goddamn I hated that game.
So I've been thinking about it a lot, about the absolute worst game I've ever played. And I'm still not entirely sure. I've played a lot of bad games and that's just natural when you enjoy video games, but I wouldn't say any of them are enough to be called "the worst game ever". Even Sonic 06, which is broken and glitchy in a fuckload of ways, there are still a few things of the game that are... quality? Not to mention saying "Sonic 06 xd" would be the easy way out and the thing everyone says regardless of whether or not they played it.
Thinking about it hard enough, I guess the "worst game i've ever played" would have to classify as something that was incredibly frustrating to play. Something I found no enjoyment in what-so-ever and actually got quite mad while playing it. If the case is that it's something I don't enjoy playing, it wouldn't be ANF, or Silent Hill: Homecoming or Resident Evil 6 because those games all have things in them I enjoy despite most of the experience being incredibly negative and horrid for the most part. If it's just pure frustration during playing then it wouldn't be Dark Souls II, Uncharted or Turok either because while those games do endlessly piss me off there are really good things about them.
To find both of these issues in one game it'd have to be from a David Cage "game", but here's the problem with that. I've only seen let's plays of Omikron, Beyond and Indigo Prophecy. And while watching all of those was horrible in every way and they were just awful fucking stories, I haven't gotten a feel for the gameplay so I don't know how I'd feel picking up the controller. The only David Cage "game" I HAVE played is Heavy Rain, but unfortunately Heavy Rain is the best of all of David Cage's "games" and quite entertaining, which means I wouldn't count that as the worst either.
So to be honest, I'm just gonna say Play with Birds and move on.
We Are Doomed, it's a difficult clusterfuck of a game where you have to survive asteroids, lasers and enemy attacks whilst trying to destroy those enemies and pick up diamonds to power up your mega laser which is a necessity when it comes to surviving past level 10. It's pretty much just a space-themed arcade shooter that is very difficult.
If we can include Beta games, Star Wars Battlefront II. I wanted to love this game, I really enjoy the game-play and love the visuals but the fact that progression is tied behind RNG Pay 2 Win makes this game terrible to me. I'm not going to buy a game that costs $110 here just to keep paying EA more money to progress.
I almost was going to say Sonic 06 myself a while back, but despite it's huge flaws, I actually did enjoy it... somewhat. And it did introduce one of my favorite Sonic characters...
But... have you seriously played that Play With Birds game?
So I've been thinking about it a lot, about the absolute worst game I've ever played. And I'm still not entirely sure. I've played a lot of … morebad games and that's just natural when you enjoy video games, but I wouldn't say any of them are enough to be called "the worst game ever". If the case is that it's something I don't enjoy playing, it wouldn't be ANF, or Silent Hill: Homecoming or Resident Evil 6 because those games all have things in them … [view original content]

Brace yourselves. The ANF hatedom is coming.
Oh jeez there are so many. I’m going to exclude movie video games because their always bad. I would say sonic 06. If you want to know about a game that just didn’t live up to expectations Star Wars battlefront I was so hyped for it but became disappointed.
Isn't Star Wars Battlefront a movie tie in game?
Motion Video games of the 90s....Mad Dog McCree....etc.
Superman 64
I think I've been fortunate in that I haven't played many games that I genuinely disliked. I think one time I said "I fucking hate this game" was with Modern Warfare 3. That game just got me so angry.
Technically no cos it doesn't follow the story of the movies or changes the story around in anyway, it's just a Battlefield style Star Wars
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5.
Less said about that game, the better.
Um, you never played:
?
inhale
anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf anf
exhale
Uno. I always lose at that one. And when the other players start playing it like it was Strip Poker you know you're lost.
Outlast 2 for many reasons:
I even tried to platinum this game but I speak for everyone who ever tried the insane mode when I say FUCK THIS FUCKING PIECE OF GODDAMN BULLSHIT IN PARTICULAR, I almost smashed my controller at that point and I sold the game, no regrets.
That one site game when you would spank Elsa's naked butt.
And yeah, No Man's Sky.
I also think this forum is a good place to say Life is Strange, but I'm not gonna say it.
I, uh, I want to know more about it . You know... for science.
Assassin's Creed Unity because:
Yeah, it would have been better if it was rated R but it's so BLOODLESS.
The QTEs are also total shit.
The movie was only PG-13 and it had a fair amount of blood in it. Hell, it had a severed arm. So what's the game's excuse?
Especially mouse and keyboard. The controller is better to use.
They were like the QTEs in Heavy Rain. THEY'RE F*CKING EVERYWHERE!!!
And even when I press the correct button or move the joystick in the right direction, IT STILL FAILS.
you know that all of these things were in the first game as well, right?
yeah you're right except for the new enemies, new concepts, new camera functions, new characters, new antagonist motivations, random psychadelic trips in schools and the healing mechanic.
but other than that every single thing in outlast 2 wasn't new at all xd
how is trying to stand on your own without sucking the dick of your predecessors a bad thing?
can't argue there. ending was shit.
that's more like a personal problem and not an objective problem.
no mate, i'm afraid you don't actually speak for the 229,000+ other people who bought the game and obviously tried insane mode due to curiosity like most gamers do.
i agreed with all of that
Roblox is the worst game ever imaginable because it has hashtags when you say something, for example, I try to say LOL but it says ###!
In the popular section, whenever i try looking around for cool games, it shows the sponsered games. Just make a sponsered section! ):<
There are many more things i hate about this game but its terrible to me fyi
Outlast 2 has nothing to remind us about the first game. All the information is found by a hidden note nobody found while playing for the first time.
Hiding was never an option in that area.
well then i guess i'm just criminally insane because i remember quite a few chase segments.
i disagree. the first game's story was very vague and confusing until the end of the second half, which is perfect for me because i like to be engaged and interested in a story while not being told everything.
that's actually a fair point.
So I have a question, what about the batshit insane people Miles and Waylon came across that deserved to die or at least be attacked? Is it still understandable then?
I disagree. In fact I think Outlast 2 is far more like Amnesia story wise than the first game. Gameplay wise? Not really. But the story is a lot more similar.
That did not answer my question.
Oh so like a realistic situation where you're trapped in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of religious crazies and their super bitch?
Not really. Realistic games can be quite fun if they're done right. Saying that such a broad subject is "killing video games" is objectively incorrect.
But at least let me skip the cutscenes, they are doing nothing but waste the players' time.
That, I agree with. Definitely obnoxious to watch the same cutscenes over and over.
I don't remember a lot of bad games I've played, but one I do remember is Rambo The Video Game from 2014. Jesus christ, that game was bad. I'm surprised this game has even made it to a publisher. The gameplay, graphics, animations, literally everything was bad in that game.
Mass Effect: Andromeda.
What...What is it that you hate about it?
You made some good points.
I almost was going to say Sonic 06 myself a while back, but despite it's huge flaws, I actually did enjoy it... somewhat. And it did introduce one of my favorite Sonic characters...
But... have you seriously played that Play With Birds game?
