Who actually didn't buy the game?

People usually just watch telltale games on youtube. To be honest you're pretty much playing them since it's..just choices and dialogue. I was actually intent on buying the game but little old me couldn't resist spoiling everything for myself. Oh well. Lol.

  • I don't think it's the same? I mean, how big is the chance someone posting a video will make exactly the same choices as you would.

  • A common misconception. You never get the right feeling from a TT game unless you play it yourself. It's your characters, your choices and your experience.

True but in the end it's a similar experience. Though the reason you stated is why I wanted to buy the game initially until I spoiled half the plot for myself basically. :(

  • That doesn't even make sense.. but hey, even though you've spoiled yourself I think you should play it. Stop watching the videos! It's not too late. :)

  • I definitely have to agree, as someone who has watched TellTale games that I had no interest in and played all of the others. It's an entirely different experience. There's absolutely a different scale of emotions involved, and those that watch instead don't receive the same intensity. If you'd like to use a sports analogy, it's like the difference between playing a sport and watching a sport. Both participants receive different experiences - highs and lows. If your team wins a game or loses a game, you still have an emotional reaction, but if you are the player that wins the game for the team or causes the team to lose, there's more weight behind those emotions.
