The Big Telltale Change: Good or Bad
There's already a thread on the news of telltale firing 25% of their employees and they say this will not affect TWD:s4 TFS. But this sounds ridiculous imo, and TWAUS2 is defintley going to be affected in some way too. But its too early to say whether this change or not is going to be better for the community or worse? Since this is more of a long term descion, do you predict telltale will fare well with the reduction or will the quality of episodes get shortened.
**Heres a vid i made on the topic: gameplay shows Batman season 2:episode 2 and Game of thrones season 1 episode 4. **

They had fewer staff members when they made The Walking Dead Season 1.
Games may come out slower, but they will come.
That kind of answers every question right there.
I actually wouldn't even mind the delay. Only if it means Telltale will use that time wisely to give us the best they can give and end it on a good note.
Well, them firing staff alone is definitely a concern, but when you start to realize that big names like Job J Stauffer and Ryan Lynn Weller are being fired, it really doesn't look good at all. I already was worried for TWAU S2 seeing as most of the people who worked on the Season 1 were gone, and now with this... I really don't know what to think, but Telltale's future does not look bright after this event. Time will tell, I guess.
Like said above, Walking Dead S1 was Telltales first real break through, and thats when they were a very small team.
As far as Im concerned, if smaller staff with smaller teams all dedicated to just one project and to make it as complex and content filled as Walking Dead Season 1 is good enough for me.
Yeah, the idea of Telltale firing a quarter of their staff does sound quite scary (which it is)...
But when you consider the idea of "quality over quantity", maybe it won't actually be as bad as we think it is rn.
You know what Shigeru Miyamoto says...
RIP Telltale. That juicy clickbait. Gotta bring in listeners somehow huh.
Yeah, I don't mean to be 'that guy' or anything but uh

Now I'm somewhat concerned for the future projects such as S4 TWD/TWAU S2. I'm surprised Job J Stauffer is gone from the company now as well.
That game wasn't delayed. It was shot, run over, dipped in acid, quarantined, summoned to hell, had it's ashes shipped around the world via USP standard shipping with no wrapping paper, then put back together using paper clips, old chewing gum, and zip ties... Or so I'm told. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
