  • If John is not yet a mastermind in this story and he is not messing with Bruce from the begining and is really genuine, I think he really values Batman more than he values anyone else. It may be something that Batman will or won't do and what John will see as his hero failing him in important matter, that will cause Jon's 'transformation' into Joker. And unintentionaly being the cause of this, Bruce may be guilt ridden for the results of Joker's actions - that would create interesting dynamic between Batman and Joker.

  • He did steal the laptop from both Bruce and Harley just to make Batman happy, if you think about it. Hahaha, Bruce is competing with himself.
