If Wolf 2 comes out this fall, I'm betting either some other licenced property next summer (I don't think we'll see Batman return until late 2019), or their first original IP.
We know it's in the works, but it's probably been put on hold in the past few years and then changed from what the original "Super Show" idea was.
Really hoping it's that original IP. I crave to see a complete modern Telltale run free, unbounded by canon (Wolf/Borderlands/GoT), design (TWD/Minecraft), or character limitations (Batman/Guardians).
Pure creative freedom.
I know that they said that how we view a Telltale game could be quite different by the end of 2018 to last year, so I am curious to see how that might impact WD Season 4 and WAU Season 2 alongside any other property planned for this year. I would think that it will be a new IP myself. Game of Thrones S2 is more likely next year alongside the final series of the main show.
Yep, I’m pretty busy. We’re super excited about next year, particularly some of the new stuff we’ll talk about soon. Getting into 2019 we’ll have some new IP to talk about, some original IP, and new gameplay too. The next couple of years, we’ll be locking in the road map soon and we’re really excited about it.
So... We'll see if there's anything new to talk about this year. I'm not expecting any as I think Telltale's main focus is on the currently announced projects, but maybe they do have a surprise in store.
The q4 2018 game was cancelled I think. This was where the Q4 game was first mentioned. https://venturebeat.com/2017/12/11/game-boss
"We have a new IP that I can’t announce yet, but we’re really excited about it. We’re doing that for Q4."
But I was browsing glassdoor and linkedin articles related to telltale and I think it got cancelled.
On this employees linkedin page, there is a project in his resume entitled as a "Cancelled 2018 Project."
(I hope it doesn't come off that creepy that I look at telltale employees linkedin and glassdoor pages. XD)
Game of Thrones Season 2 is also listed as cancelled on an employees resume, rather than it being "on hold"

The company will continue with its previously announced projects, including new seasons of established properties like Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us. One source tells The Verge that those production plans were not impacted by the layoffs.
I meant this article it was published quite recently. It goes into detail about the layoffs and includes personal accounts from former employees who talk about what it was like working at Telltale between 2014-2017. I made a discussion about it in General Chat

That is not confirmation of Season 2 of GoT still in development. Telltale said only Wolf S2 and Walking Dead S4 would not be impacted by the layoffs, Verge claiming that GoT S2 will also not be impacted is inaccurate and is a flaw on their part. Obviously GoT S2 being canned is just a rumor but is probably accurate seeing that S2's announcement was in its self clunky, followed by no news about it all, and then the ex-Telltale employee confirming that GoT S2 was indeed canceled. What is most likely is that Verge does not know about the ex-Telltale employee leak or seeing that GoT S2 isnt "officially" canned, they arn't reporting it. Id like to say again, Telltale never mentioned anything about the lay offs impacting Game of Thrones, the only games they mentioned were Wolf S2 and Walking Dead S4 only, so this part where Verge mentions Game of Thrones is inaccurate.

Honestly that is a very good point. It could be true but it also may not. It is more of an assumption than anything else. And I do think that Telltale should come out and say whether or not they are still doing the Second Season. Anyways, thank you for commenting it is good to see you around the forums as much as you are. I apologise if my comment came across as me trying to 1-Up you or anything. You know what you are talking about. Hopefully Telltale see these efforts and reward you with some high quality Rhys Socks

I for one would enjoy a new addition to the franchise. I already know after these next two installments, I'll be comfortable with giving them both a rest. I personally would like to see either an original thriller/drama from Telltale, or just a dark drama set in another time period. Preferably 80's or 2000's

Probably Batman Season 3, Game of Thrones Season 2 and the Super Show. Possibly a new property
Batman S3 is probably the most likely.
Inb4 Telltale shuts down right after S4 and Wolf S2.
inb4 shuts down before Wolf S2 even releases, devastating us all
They probably need to do a new ip instead of always doing franchised properties.

If telltale does do more games after TWD4 and TWAU2 then i would like to see a Hellboy telltale series.
it should be game of thrones season 2 and super show because other then TWD s4 and TWAU s2 ,their the only ones confirmed
Didn't they say they planned on showing 3 series by the end of the year in an interview? (Summer - TWD Fall - Wolf Winter - Mini series/one off?)
Yeah, now that you mention it, it's from that VentureBeat article.

A recent article from the Verge said that there will be a Game of Thrones Season Two at some point in the future
If I remember right that article is pretty old now.
Poogs is right. I think that article dates back to 2015-early 2016.
