This one keeps popping around. In short Telltale won't disclose the numbers, but considering certain indirect (and direct) hints its doing more than great.
has anyone seen the sales figures for tales yet? is it selling faster than S&M Season 1 was at this point?
Yes, it's outselling Sam & Max and all other Telltale games. They have not released exact sales figures, but they have said it was their best selling game yet.

total compared to the others or time since the first was launched? cuz the problem is that you buy the season all at once instead of having the option(which some would take advantage of) of buying an episode at a time
Mac users can play it using Crossover... not sure if that's boosting sales in a small, insignificant way? In the past I never played windows-only releases (MI 1,2,3 & 4 were all on the Mac! It was really popular in the Mac community whereas lots of Windows users were playing Doom, Quake, Wolf 3d...etc while I was trying to finish off the MI games.)
Now with Crossover I've just installed Steam... means I can play Windows games without owning Windows... VERY useful!
I also use it to play Dreamfall & The Longest Journey... 2 games I always wanted to play.
