Sorry buddy telltale is working hard on these new projects to insure quality presence in their games....you don't want another anf rush trust me.

  • Quality > Quantity

At least that is what i'm hoping.

If the leaked TWD Season 4 clip, as well as the comments by the new CEO are any indication, Telltale are indeed going for that approach. So, this downtime might be a good thing, allowing Telltale to breathe and gather their thoughts.

If something so close to the status quo as Walking Dead Season 4 has that much of a radical deviation (for the better) in its art style and gameplay, imagine what exciting stuff they might try for Wolf Season 2 and any other upcoming games. Imagine Wolf Season 2 in the art style of Walking Dead Season 4, but in neon... :weary:

(See that background cabin? That's not concept art - that's 3D!)

  • It's pretty awesome to see that TT are taking their time and experimenting with what I assume are larger, more expanded hubs with natural encounters and situations, and coupled with their increasing ability to make choices impact more (as shown by the virtually different final episode of Enemy Within) I say let them work on it.

  • Thanks for linking that video, the leaked gameplay video you mentioned looked really interesting, especially that they decided to go with third person this time which changes the gaming experience completely.

I'm sure it's a good thing that Telltale is taking their time now for creating their games and bringing some innovation into them. Telltale is such a unique developer that i felt like was a real shame that the game quality seemed to be dropping more and more after every release and finally it seems like they're picking themselves up again. What i found really interesting for example were all the new technical details and improvements in Batman S2 compared to S1. Everything with much better textures, performance, UI, many more details and in general just being a more unique, well executed and amazing written story and basically 2 episodes in 1 depending on our choices. You can really see that they're trying to change a lot of stuff for the better and that is what makes me excited for the future and Telltale's upcoming games.

I'm not even a big Walking Dead fan but after seeing how much love and work they are putting into it i might pick it up just because of that. Can't wait for Wolf Among Us though! :hushed:

I'll admit I'm a bit sad its gonna be quiet for quite a while, but if it means a better polished experience. I'll live.

  • Thats a good thing. Last year was overcrowded and the quality of their series suffered because of it.

  • You can always go to your local Comic store and get those Telltale Batman Comics. ;)
