as soon as I click the "launch game" icon, the game crushes. had no such problems with part 1. what do I do??

getting rid of IE 8 did not help, neither disconnecting the internet.

    You could try Weredingo's solution. Would be interesting to see if that makes a difference.

    Otherwise let's check your ToMI installers for errors.

    MD5 Check
    Please download and install Hashcheck.
    Then Download this MD5 File into the folder that contains the ToMI installers you downloaded from Telltale.

    Finally just double click on the .md5 file for verification and tell us the results.

    MD5 stated that there is a mismatch of the installer. what do I do now?
