I'm aware that before the S1 team came up with the meat of the story they had always planned for Lee to die at the end. However I always wondered how much better or worse would the series have been if Lee never had to die in season one's finale? Would you actually pay for a what-if series that focuses on life with Clementine and Lee surviving together or a life where Clementine had taken Lee's place at the end of season one and Lee carrying on with the weight and guilt of Clem's death on his shoulders from that point on?

    Lee and Clementine shouldve had more time together but the S1 ending is nevertheless quite exceptional.

    I guess it was pretty obvious that Lee was going to die because normally it happens in those storyline situations. If you get what I mean.
