At What Point in The Comics will The Final Season Take Place?

Hey guys apologies for the ridiculous question but I have been questioning this for a while. At what point in the Comics will The Final Season take place? Will it be up to the most recent issue? Will The Final Season be ahead of the Comic Book timeline? How does the Timeline of the Game Series correlate to the Timeline of the Comic Book Series?

Please refrain from spoilers as I am still catching up on the Show and the Show usually follows the exact same plot and events of the Comics.

    Lol the show barely loosely follows the comics. They deviate A LOT.

    But as for the comic timeline, which the TellTale games use as official canon (compared to the show which is like an alternate universe where things are the same but different), TellTale's Final Season will actually be taking place about 3 years in the future of where the comics are right now. ANF, Season 3, took place just behind the comics current time, like within maybe 6 months to a year of being current, and TFS is time skipping 4 years ahead.

    I always looked at it like this as a rough reference.
    1. Season one beginning was basically right at Days Gone By and it's ending was approximately right before the Woodbury /Governor attacks.
    2. Season two beginning was basically right about at the time Rick's group reaches Alexandria and it's ending was approximately right before Something To Fear/Saviours.
    3. New Frontier beginning was basically right about sometime after All Out War and it's ending was approximately right before Whispers Into Screams (judging from Jesus's outfit change throughout the duration of the season it seems to have to had been).
    4. Final Season will be approximately present day with the comics so possibly simultaneously with the commonwealth saga.

    With all the constant consistent time skips these games keep having it is highly likely my hypothesis is closest to the true accuracy of the game/comic timeline.
