What will you tell AJ about...?
If AJ asked about his parents, who they were, how/why they died, etc.
How exactly would you refer to them given the choice? Would you refer to Rebecca and Alvin in a kind way, or would you just be real (that they weren't exactly the best people but then again, who really is?) Would you explain who Carver was and would you even tell AJ how they died (like the circumstances around that, or would you just be as ambiguous as possible, they're dead and that's that).
I'm very interested to see how we'll be able to refer to the events of Season 2 and how that'll shape AJ

I would explain everything, he deserves to know.
If I can, everything. He seems mature enough to know and handle it. He also looks like he wonders sometimes about Clem, I mean one look at Clementine and you can only imagine the horrors she's gone through. Even one look at her hat and you can tell! He deserves to know. Including about his parents. It's time.
Only the most valuable and important life lessons he needs to know. The story of Maybelle the cow and the gorey salt lick, The destruction of that one dude's face and last but not least what makes someone qualify as a true shitbird
I'd tell him his dad was a nice guy that got murdered but his mom was a bitch and I'm only sad she died because it meant I got stuck with his ass.
I'd say "Listen kid, your father was either a fat old man who did nothing but rely on me to take care of your mom while she was pregnant with you, or a cold hearted murdering piece of shit who was obsessed with power. Your mom was the most sinister bitch when I first met her. She tried to get me killed."
Despite being way too young to hear about the horrible things that happened to his parents I would tell him and I would be as truthful as I could be to AJ. He deserves to know and although it would be quite hard for him to come to terms with it I think it would be ideal for him to live and know about his parents rather than dying (Which I really hope he doesn't) and not knowing a single thing about them. But those are my thoughts on it
I'd tell him about everything except the gore.
I've been hoping somethings like this would come up.
I'm tell him about Alvin, what he and Rebecca went through because they wanted to have him, how Carver tried to take him for himself, and how Luke, Sarah, and the others traveled alongside his parents and helped fight to ensure he got to have a life.
I would talk to him about Kenny, who was more of a parent towards AJ than Alvin and Rebecca combined.
Pretty much everything possible that has happened in the previous seasons
I'll tell him about Alvin and Rebecca. And if I can, about other characters, too.
I agree. Carver was a good man and died too soon.
If there was an option, I'd tell him all the gore too, because I know that he won't be fazed.
AJ...I am going to be honest with you. Your mom was a bitch and your daddy was a pussy....and somehow, I have to make you a man so you can survive this world to face hunger and starvation. Oh and walkers...you have to face those.
I'd tell him that his dad sacrificed himself to save the group and his mom got sick after having him, and I'd try to leave out the 10% chance that Carver is his dad
The chances that AJ is Carver's son are way more than 10%... in fact I would say that it's about a 10% chance that AJ is Alvin's. Rebecca said that she and Alvin tried tons of times and it never happened, then she banged Carver and got pregnant. More than likely he is Carver's son.
Unfortunately confirmed a while back. Like a long while back.
Well, Rallo, your parents... Did nothing special and their deaths weren't memorable. Okay, except your real father; his death was amusing. On the other hand, My daddy - Lee, was a great brave man and players miss him to this day.
