Theory about returning character

I have theory and that is, when you remember Episode 1 Season 2. After Omid dies, Clem and Christa was in the forest and later they met group of men. And they got split up, it was only heard a shot but we don't know if Christa is dead, later in that episode i mean at the end she was by the river with Pete and Nick where were those dead bodies and one of the bodies was the man in the woods with Clem and Christa. He asked for water. So my theorie is that we will see conclusion of the dead bodies and i think that Christa became a leader of that group or maybe she is member in there.

I swear if Christa shows up I'm gonna be so disgusted. The guy doesn't tell you what happened but it's been 6 years and hundreds of miles. Even if Christa survived, which is a big if, 2 v 1 and they had guns, the odds of running into her again are really slim, especially when you consider Clem already had one such reunion with Kenny. 2 years later a few hundred miles she happens to run into Kenny at some random ski resort (or whatever that was). The odds of that happening are crazy low, kinda' like winning the lottery, not impossible but very unlikely yet somehow Clem pulled it off and did it. Fine. But then Christa, too, after even longer time and even more miles? That's like winning the lottery (finding Kenny), then playing and winning again (Christa). The odds of anyone doing that are so low it's never actually happened.

  • I always interpreted that scene in the woods as Christa dying, you hear someone falling, then Christa screaming, followed by a gunshot and then silence.
But I guess that can't be a reason to stop TT from bringing her back, I mean look at Kenny's "death"

  • The inference I always got was that Roman was the leader of the North Carolina Scavengers.

  • But then Christa, too, after even longer time and even more miles? That's like winning the lottery (finding Kenny), then playing and winning again (Christa). The odds of anyone doing that are so low it's never actually happened.

Does anyone really give a shit about "the odds" or whether something is too convenient/contrived to be happening anymore?

at this point im pretty sure that its more that people are afraid that the returning character gets too much attention like Kenny in season 2 or are just afraid their character gets ruined by the writers.
Considering that Kenny s situation was alot harder to believe than Christa s .

  • nice theory OP,But i doubt the new folk at TT will hardly revisit the past characters because they are not there ideas and ideas of people who have left TT...this is what were getting with the teenagers in this final season, the guys who work at TT now, this is there collective idea..

  • My theory is that Lilly's group saved Christa from the bandits, and now they're together to appear on SEASON 4

People who are concerned with maintaining at least a semblance of realism. You suspend disbelief to allow for zombies, but everything else, like physics, random chance, etc, needs to follow realistic rules. I mean, imagine if Clem suddenly grew wings and started flying around. That'd be fucking ridiculous and ruin the entire experience. It's the same concept with chance encounters etc. There has to be a realistic limit on them otherwise it just seems silly. The only way it'd be possible to reunite with Christa or anyone else from seasons 1 and 2 without seeming completely unrealistic (because she already reunited with Kenny) is if Clem ends up going to a huge survivor community, bigger than Richmond, somewhere where people travel hundreds of miles to join up, like the commonwealth from the comics. Then it'd be ok because you explain it away as they both heard about the place and made their way there separately. That's much more believable than Clem running into Christa at some random gas station or something.

Just like how walkers typically go for people's entrails with a single punch(?) like the Leprechaun?
Just like how Brenda chops off Mark's legs and then cauterizes them with a goddamn iron in the bathroom and no one--not even Lilly or Larry--hears a thing?
Just like how Kenny was able to make it out of either an alley or dark building filled to the brim with walkers with no bites?
Just like how Clementine was able to drag Lee into a jewelry store in the middle of a herd after seeing her parents' walkers?
Just like how Kenny takes several brutal smacks to the head/eye with a walkietalkie and gets back up for sneaking & fighting with minutes of Carlos operating on and dressing it a few hours later at most?
Just like how Sarah(and nearly Jane) falls when the observation deck collapse under her feet, but ends up pinned down by a huge chunk of it when the dust clears?
Just like how Gabe gets easily floored by a single hit from The Specialist and David, but is able to run with Mariana's body and lift Javier above his head with relatively little issue?
    Yeah, realism is super important.
