Well Telltale.....Let us make a PACT
Never again will we ask for a PC Demo as it is a pain in the ass to not get spoiled. I am sorry I wanted one...and if we could reverse time...I would kick myself in the ass.
If you agree that PC DEMOS SHOULD NEVER BE DONE FOR TELLTALE GAMES....POST BELOW AYE!

I agree
I think this demo will be the one exception. Telltale doesn't really do demos, but I feel they did this one to show off the new engine and stuff more than anything else. Just survive, I guess?
I don't think I wouldn't want PC demos, since that seems unfair to PC users, but instead I'd love for Telltale to clean up the demo's files.
If they could just remove the unnecessary files from the demo -- like the ones that are a part of the full game (like choices and stuff) that'd be great.
I've only gotten spoiled of the episode titles so far, so hopefully I can hold out until the release. It's only spoilers of the first episode, right?
EDIT: now that I think of it telltale doesn't really do demos anymore. so this is probably just something special they did for promotional purposes. I don't think we'll have to worry about any demo for future titles... Maybe the next game, just to showcase their Unity switch (and as a benchmark for low-end users).
Either they need to not do them, or not keep so many files for the entire season in a 15 minute demo.
I'm not sure I can legally let you make a pact.
blood oath?
NOW you're on to something
Seems a but unfair, don’t you think? How about Telltale learns from their mistakes (like they always do) and take some time to clean out the files?
I've seen companies before release free demos that don't spoil the game but just contain an extra scene or two to demonstrate how the engine works. Maybe something like that could be considered.
Yeah, non-canon or "test demos" meant to showcase the game without spoiling the content of the actual game itself is the way to go. Some of those demos are my favourite. It's basically free extra content.
...Unfortunately this doesn't always work out (apparently) since Dontnod did the same thing a few months ago with the standalone Captain Spirit, but they still left a bunch of LiS2 content in the files.
